I have just arrived home after staying at this hotel and it is the first time I couldn’t wait to get home from a holiday!
I booked a superior room, which was extremely basic, very small room with a kettle (no coffee, tea, milk or sugar)… a tiny fridge that we couldn’t even stand a carton of milk in! and a Tv.
Towels were changed once during the week, bedding was not changed at all! Shower cubicle was blocked and water constantly spilled over onto the bathroom floor every time we used it and the shower itself would not stay in the wall attachment and we had hold it in order to take a shower.!
The pool is large but extremely cold 🥶, entertainment laughable, food is awful, pretty much the same every day, chips, fish, chicken stew, salad, we had potatoes one day on offer, and mash on another day. Starter is soup and roll or salad! Dessert jelly, tiny tub ice cream, cake or what tasted like Angel Delight. Lunch and dinner were the same food served up. Breakfast is a good choice but again extremely repetitive.
Staff in dining are extremely rude! Maids and reception helpful. It is self service and your are required to clear your own table and carry to trolley after every meal. Coffee, tea etc is a machine and no cold milk for tea we had to take our own each meal as were told by staff hot milk or nothing!
The hotel itself is in dire need of total refurbishment, they had started painting the chipped outdoor paint as we were leaving. It is in the middle of nowhere with only industrial markets and supermarkets near by. There is no beach, and no souvenir shops or grocery shops apart from the one at hotel.
It is all in all the worst holiday I have experienced and at almost £800 for one person a week I feel robbed!
I will not be returning again and do not recommend whatsoever!!!

Firstly if you are looking five stars you need to pay five star prices.....
Arrived at night, just in time for dinner. Pretty basic . One section of hot food which always included chips, rice, salad and some type of meat. Desserts were much the same every night jelly and ice-cream. Staff were always busy, between trying to clean and set tables and when I tried to talk to a couple of them they didn't really bother.
Pool area always sunbeds available,a lot of cracked tiles around pool area and paint peeling off inside the pool itself. Bar beside the pool often busy as only just one serving but moved pretty quickly.
Room was great. Fridge, kettle, air conditioning and TV. Balcony outside with chairs and table. Towels changed and bins emptied.
All in all you get what you pay for and we found it good value for what we paid. Ideal for a quiet relaxing stay.

A last minute booking, so, pleasantly surprised. Only 5 minutes from the airport. Staff were superb, especially Ailin and Lucia, exceptional customer service. Really friendly and polite and hard working. The guy with the beard who worked behind the pool bar could do with learning some manners and customer service, useless and rude. Apart from that everything was great. Very clean, exceptional staff, from reception down to the cleaning staff.
Only a short walk into Fuste for the bars and shops.
Food was ok, what you'd expect for a 3*, but something for everyone. Well laid out and always full.

Quiet location, not far from the airport. Close to a coastal resort town with plenty of bars and some shops. Located in a quieter part of the island.
Friendly reception, restaurant and bar staff. A special mention to Rachid, who was always amazing, incredibly friendly and seemed to be enjoying life.
Family friendly hotel with a peaceful atmosphere.
Activities are available with entertainment throughout the day
There is a small buffet style restaurant with limited selection, and some snacks/nibbles available throughout the day. Some alcohol is available within the all inclusive band, but not all types.
Room is quite basic, with a living area (sofa bed, table and tv) and very white! But the weather is usually good year round so you won't be inside much, but it is all you need. Great views from our room (balcony is pool facing) with the ocean past some buildings, and mountains from the front of the building/other side of the room.
My only negative point is that the pool opens at 10:30 which is disappointing as I wanted to swim during sunrise. Otherwise, a great stay!
Great for plane spotters as they fly over (both to take off, and land - wind dependant) the noise wasn't an issue for us.
Do your research on the area to know if it is right for you before coming as many do not and then leave bad reviews
Great value for money
You get what you pay for :)

We had a fantastic time at the Costa Tropical this week.
The room we had (41B) was clean and well appointed with an excellent shower that is probably the best I've seen in a hotel of this rating.
Food was fine, it wasn't amazing, but was always edible - the restaurant is clean and the themed buffets were presented well
Jordi the entertainment man was fantastic! He had us on our feet for activities every day and we missed getting told off by him on his days off...
The staff team here really are a credit and all work really hard to provide a great experience for the guests.
The pool is huge, and not as cold as everyone says - chilly for the first 2 mins or so but no colder than the sea is
Thank you ♥️
