We stayed for one week during high season and it was the perfect family holiday! The hotel is superb in every way.
Even with the hotel being fully booked, it didn't feel crowded. There are so many choices for pools, restaurants and activities. Even as a family of seven we never waited in line for long or had difficulties finding a place at the pool or a table at a restaurant.
The whole complex was clean and well kept.
The whole staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, we felt very well taken care of! I cannot stress enough how much this contributed to our experience! 🫶🏻

Visited in July 2025 during peak season. The hotel was clearly overwhelmed — long lines at the restaurant during lunch, and almost no free sunbeds by the pool as guests reserved them early with towels. The pool had too many chemicals, which caused skin irritation. Towel service was frustrating, and we even noticed dirty dishes mixed with clean ones at the buffet. Kids Room was poorly equipped — just paper and crayons. Food was repetitive, with very limited seafood.
That said, the bar was a pleasant surprise — drinks were mixed well and served quickly, with almost no queues. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. The kids’ animators were good, though activities mostly suited children aged 4 and up.
The beach is public but really nice — clean, with soft sand, a gentle slope into the sea, and only a few seaweeds. Great for small kids. Overall, the location is lovely, even if the hotel needs serious improvements for high season.

We visited in early May for 4 days with a family of 3 plus 2 grandparents. we went for the all inclusive and it was the best decision ever! Mainly because the food in the hotel was fresh, varied and had really good options of everything. Baby friendly and family friendly. Felt safe and easy. The only downside was that works was taking place so it meant noise during the day which wasn’t so bad as we wasn’t in the room anyway. There’s no lifts so buggy’s are tough, the walls are very thin and doors are weirdly loud. But very clean and spacious. Very close to the beach and just a really nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and would come back here in a flash!

We’ve been to this location 3 times with our kids (ages 8 and 11 but we first came when they were 6 and 9). The location is perfect for kids of all ages with multiple pools and the beach just out the back of the resort. We all enjoyed the drinks and snacks during the day by the pools and the meals had something for everyone with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables along with fresh meats and pastas. My kids enjoy trying new things at the buffet. There’s plenty of entertainment during the day from exercise classes to kids activities or plenty of chairs by the pools if you just want to relax. Well worth the money for a quick family getaway or relaxing reset.

We absolutely loved our time at Iberostar Albufera. The location is stunning — right on a beautiful beach. The whole place is spotless and so well cared for.
The staff were incredibly kind and made us feel very welcome from day one. The food was fantastic, with lots of fresh and tasty options.
Waking up to the sound of the sea was magical. We left with wonderful memories and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
