Having read previous reviews about location etc, I thought I would put an honest one in, This is a lovely Hotel comprising of three Blocks, 6 floors on each. One block was closed and another had renovation going on. This did not affect our stay. The room was a very very big one bedroom apart, with double balconies, unfortunately due to the weather in January this year we never got to sit out …. now the selling point of this hotel is the staff, Bar staff Marcus Eduardo and val, and Pedro and Dora …. Always very happy to help. The bar has just had a refit and due to the inclement weather we spent many a night there….the staff were informative and joined in with our crowds conversations. 5/5 Both me and my partners are over 66, and being in a self catering apartment we needed basics, there is a large supermarket 10 min walk downhill from the apartment.although we didn’t cook in the apartment we did have breakfast and occasional sandwich. All the facilities were there and I know other couples who were staying for a longer period did some cooking. The location is complained about in previous reviews, but if you are reasonably fit, Praia Rocha is a mere 20 min walk away and Portamao 25 min walk but there is a hotel bus daily except Sunday and the local bus top is 100 yards from the hotel. This will take you to Lagos, Praia de vua or Portmao €1.75 per person. So cheap.. the hotel also does meals from 8am. Full English and snacks afternoon and evening. Would is stay here again, definitely hotel was spotless. Maid service daily, and bed sheets changed on request. It gets a 4 out of 5 only for the location, it’s not on the beach and a bit of a walk if you have a young family.

The hotel is lovely. Reception and bar area is modern and fresh. Provides a small pool and a hot tub in the lovely little garden area.
Reception staff available 24/7.
Towels changed every other day, beds every 3 nights.
Double room self catering was spacious and somewhat clean. Matress was uncomfortable which was the only let down in the whole hotel. Plenty of sockets in the living area but only one in bedroom. Living area has AC/heating.
Bar is well stocked with good food like pizza, hotdogs, salads.
Electric scooters available just round from the hotel to get around. 10 minute walk to a big shopping centre and about 20 minutes walk to the beach.
Hotel has a shuttle at 10 to go to beach and into the town returning at 4pm.

We are currently staying here. We are very happy with our apartment. It is so very quiet, and has good black out curtains. So always a brilliant sleep.
It is do spacious, with large lounge, 2 sofa beds. Newly fitted Kitchen with hob, microwave, kettle and toaster.
Powerful shower. Balcony with full sun .
Hotel is very clean, lovely bar area, good price drinks and snacks. Pool area very clean. Very comfortable loungers. Great spa jacuzzi.
Courtesy bus runs twice in morning, and twice in afternoon to Portimão and Praia da Rocha beach.
Lovely restaurants in Praia, and watching the sunset is amazing.
Good supermarkets close by.
Having a wonderful holiday

Amazing hotel for a holiday. Spent a week here out of season and the staff were phenomenal. Extremely clean rooms and all the amenities required for a great getaway. Not too far from the shops and the beach walking (15 mins).
FAIR TO MARVELOUS FEEDBACK
Never stay at this hotel from November to March.
They don't have heaters in the bedrooms. You may find 7 blankets to keep you harm in the closet. That is ridiculous in 2026! Means poor management! And not economics☆!
