Weather

Playa de Talamanca is, much like many Mediterranean resorts, much busier in the summer months (particularly in school holidays) than at any other time of year. But thanks to a pleasant climate all year round, you can just as easily go and make the most of the quieter months for a more relaxing holiday. Here’s what to expect from the weather:

The year starts off in the middle of Winter, with January and February experiencing the relative lows of 8-15°C.
March and April bring around a gradual shift towards the warmth, rising 3 degrees to 18°C.
The temperature finally breaks the 20°C barrier in May, reaching up to 22°C.
June is the beginning of the truly hot weather at 26°C.
The peak of the year is in July and August when the maximum temperature is just shy of 30°C and stays in the 20s even at the coldest points.
The weather begins to cool off in September, dropping a couple of degrees to 27°C.
October marks the end of the weather being in the 20’s with the temperature dropping to 19°C in November, before finally coming full circle in December.

Activities

A holiday here is all about the great outdoors, from al fresco dining, to watersports or simply soaking up the sun on the beach. Grab a snorkel and enjoy the marine life or enjoy watersports like jetskiing or banana boating.

Playa de Talamanca is also close to Aqualandia water park, which is filled with with amazing slides and pools. This gives the thrill seekers something else to sink their teeth into while those who want a break enjoy the tranquil beach.
