The Dolphin hotel is a beautiful building. Built in the 90’s the architecture is still appealing and unique. The landscape is in pristine condition and the outdoor amenities are great too. My one major “complaint” about this hotel is that the rooms look like they’re from the 90’s era. The bathrooms are extremely cramped, many electrical outlets don’t work, there was a lot of dust in our room too. Also we had to switch rooms initially because our first room had a very dingy smell to it and there were dead insects on the floor.
Overall, this hotel has a lot of potential but they need to completely renovate their rooms. There’s a huge disconnect between how the exterior looks and the way the rooms are.

Fantastic location if you’re going to Epcot or Hollywood Studios as there is a boat taxi available to take you there. The Boardwalk is a few steps away where you’ll have a view of the fireworks - some rooms also have a view of the fireworks. Owned by Marriot but considered a Disney Resort. Amenities were great, especially the Grotto pool. Maybe it was just happened to be the time I was there but I noticed a significant difference compared to other area hotels that the families were actually watching their children and there weren’t kids running around throughout the resort. The rooms were average but clean. Quick check-in, staff seemed friendly enough. Only negative was the parking - we drove around for over 20 min looking for a spot and after asking we were told to park on Swan side. That was a bit of a hike. Parking is $35 per night so they discounted us $5 per night for the trouble. I thought the parking price was excessive, but all in all a great stay!

Great place to stay for a conference or a vacation, especially if you don't want to be inundated with all the typical trappings of a Disney hotel. Still, there's plenty of magic to be had here, and the hotel offers a variety of dining options, and access to hot spots around the park through shuttles. I really liked how you can walk to the boardwalk and shuttle to Disney Springs. Great options for a fun (and mostly free!) time out!

This is one of the resorts on Disney property that isn’t owned by Disney. It’ll feel different from the Disney owned resorts, but you’ll get the same perks as someone who stays at a Disney owned resort. This resort has four restaurants, and 27 floors. It really feels luxurious, but the price tag is around the same as a Disney moderate resort.
The check-in process is chaotic, especially with the traffic and how busy the lobby can get. However, the room keys work all the time. The room itself doesn’t have much decorations, but it’s clean and the air conditioning is always running. Overall, not the best resort, but you’ll get a different experience here compared to other Disney hotels.

I am actually pretty sad writing this review. I have stayed at Dolphin or Swan on at least 5 trips in the last couple years. This last time was HORRIFIC. I stayed one night at swan; they were sold out and I couldn’t book on the website but did a room through a third party vendor - it said no resort fee would be paid because I paid it through the vendor. I was charged again at Swan and they wouldn’t so much as give me one Bonvoy point - they told me “go file a credit card dispute or deal with the vendor. Not our problem”. Thanks Hannah and Jack!
After that one fun day at Swan, I transferred to Dolphin same trip for 3 nights. Swan said they checked me in and transferred my bags. My sister was meeting but but not til 10pm that evening after her work day.
Dana Speed, who has NO business working anywhere that has contact with people (unless maybe as a prison guard) refused to give me a room, a key, or even speak to me about my room without both adults on the room reservation present. My sister had to call customer service and argue while I was physically present in the hotel so I could get a key before 10pm. Mind you this was with my checking in at Swan for my transfer to Dolphin and they could see the room and checked me in.
Dolphin and swan did nothing for us. We are Disney AP holders and spent a total of 22 nights there, including 8 nights where we had an extra room for family too.
You have really done a disservice to some previously loyal customers Swan and Dolphin. I could not be more disappointed or sad in how this went with the staff at BOTH hotels.
Never had issues in prior trips. Maybe a change in management and front desk staff has ruined these properties.
Still have an open dispute with Swan where the girl (Hannah) is simply berating me and refusing any solution I propose.
Customer service is a dying industry.
