While the resort was pretty decent for the price, the location is a bit odd. Surrounding areas remind me of the older part of the Vegas strip. But other than that, rooms weren't too bad for a family of 3. Our room was ready before check in time, which was great since we were tired from traveling.
Cons: Beds only had thin sheets and a thin blanket. Some nights you were cold due to the a/c being on, and didn't have much to cover you. The walls are thin and you can hear everything above and below you (flushing of toilets, doors closing).
Pros: The resort has a Starbucks and Universal Studios store on the main floor. We never got a chance to visit the restaurant in the hotel, but heard the pizza was good (they even deliver to your room). They also provide transportation to and from the parks which is super helpful when you are tired from being in the heat and walking all day. Their pool is very spacious and located in the central area between the 2 towers, so it gets a lot of sun no matter where you sit.
Overall, if you are on a budget, definitely book your stay here.

Overall, our week was nice. The room faced an abandoned hotel and graffiti filled wall, so there was that. The pool was good. Maybe a little shade would have made it better. The food was okay. Good choices are just medium quality. When you're competing with universal food, you might need to step it up a bit. Overall, it was a nice stay.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Universal Endless Summer Resort Dockside. As a new addition to the Universal Resort hotels, it was absolutely beautiful and super clean. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which is perfect for families. There was even a picnic table and kitchenette which we enjoyed having. I was very impressed by the unique layout (2 queen beds and a small separate room with 1 queen bed) and the size was very spacious. Great resort style pool with plenty of space to swim around. Our favorite perk was the complimentary shuttle bus to Universal City Walk and parks; very clean and we never had to wait more than a few mins at pick up/drop off. The only disappointment was the food. The staff was very friendly but lines were long and food wasn’t the best quality. With that, next time we’d just visit the cafeteria style restaurant less as there’s plenty of other options. Thanks for the great stay! (Pics: view from separate smaller room at night).

Customer service was great; Front Desk staff were able to answer all my questions and assisted me when I had a problem with my tickets with ease. They are very knowledgeable and efficient. My room number was on the higher end, and the walk can be very far from the lobby, especially after walking a lot at the parks all day. The room itself was neat and clean, but the glass shower door's roller had popped out of the tracks and the door would fall off quite often if we tried to open or close the shower door. Otherwise, a pretty positive experience staying here!

Absolutely amazing experience. Staff was very polite and accommodating. The shuttle from resort to parks was quick and painless. Getting in the parks was fast, and staff kept things moving along. If you qualify for the disability pass, the staff at EVERY ride was accommodating and judgment free. If the ride has stairs, they also have an elevator, and they WILL get you on it quickly and in a hurry. The FOOD!!!!!!!! It was EVERYWHERE. Need water? NO PROBLEM. IT'S FREE. If you have something to put it in, they can fill it. Cups are everywhere. Free and pricey. The walk from ride to ride isn't too bad but still be prepared. If walking is a problem, no worries, they have something for that(to rent, of course). However, it's worth it. The whole experience is worth it. They also have awesome annual passes for veterans. So all my brothers and sisters in arms. Look into it. It's worth every penny. ABSOLUTELY LOVE UNIVERSAL. I WILL BE BACK!!!!!
