Stayed here for the first time for a work conference and it was massive. We stayed in the Sunrise portion of Moon Palace, and the rooms were spacious and well appointed. The AC was the real hero and worked well making us super comfortable amidst the humid Mexican climate. The beds were comfortable but the pillows smelled super mildewy so I asked for fresh pillows and the new ones were only slightly better. (Told by housekeeping that they spray lavender on them 🤷🏻♀️) The linens and rooms were very clean and the shower was great with the exception of the slow drain.
As for the resort, the food was above average but most of the meals were catered at the conference hall. The meals we had around the resort were good, not phenomenal. Breakfast was the best meal of day and we enjoyed trying different dining spaces. The worst meal was the burger spot near the pools. Don’t recommend that location. The pools were lovely and the large golf carts made it easy to get to the spa and back and forth since our room was a good distance from the conference center. Since it was in Dec, walking around was perfectly fine. It seemed to be really family friendly and overall I enjoyed my time there with work friends.

Very nice resort. The staff are incredibly nice and will try to help you in any way they can. The resort is huge so I loved that they had little golf cart stops where you could wait for a ride. The pool is amazing. Huge and so many different areas to hang out. I recommend hanging out by the activities pool. The people who work down there in entertainment are so fun and hilarious. We had a great time just watching them lead the activities. The sand on the beach is so soft here although most people hung by the pool instead of at the beach. We were in a swim out room and it was pretty small. We had 3 people in our room and that seemed to be too much. The double beds are pretty small so they can sleep 2 but you probably won't have much extra room. We weren't in our room a lot anyway so it didn't bother me that much. The food was hit and miss for me. We had some really good food and some okay food. I think the best food we had while we were there was at Agra, the Indian restaurant. We never had to wait for to eat at a restaurant the whole time we were there. There were always tables available. We were there for a concert event so there weren't many kids during that. We stayed an extra day after the event and the resort filled up with kids. If you don't want kids around, I'd suggest opting for an adults only resort instead as this resort is very family friendly. You have a beautiful view of the sunrise right on the beach. We had a great time here. The staff overall was amazing. Having a great staff can really change the experience someone has at a resort so it was great that they were so amazing. I'd definitely recommend this resort to friends and family. Also a big plus is it's only 15 minutes from the Cancun airport which was great.

Spent six days and five nights at the Moon Palace Sunrise. My review of this resort will delve into various aspects, as my feelings about it are quite mixed.
Starting with the positives, I must commend the exemplary service provided by the restaurant and customer staff. Their warmth and attentiveness ensured we had a wonderful time. The drinks were delightful, and the food, for the most part, was delicious.
Regrettably, the experience was marred by the overly aggressive sales tactics employed by the Guest Services division. From check-in to checkout, we were bombarded with sales pitches. Despite agreeing to attend a 90-minute presentation, they failed to call us at the scheduled time. Instead, we were rudely awakened three hours earlier the next morning by eager sales representatives. This was incredibly frustrating.
Even at checkout, we were subjected to another sales pitch and offer. By this point, we were exhausted and just wanted to enjoy our vacation before heading home. The relentless pressure to purchase additional services soured our experience.
In conclusion, despite the resort's amenities, we have no intention of returning to the Moon Palace. Even the offer of a free trip would not entice us back. The aggressive sales tactics greatly detracted from what could have been an enjoyable vacation.

I recently stayed at Moon Palace sunrise resort with my family, and it was an amazing experience, especially for families with young children. The resort offers so much activities and entertainment options suitable for all ages. The kids' pool was a highlight for my children, providing hours of fun and excitement. Moreover, I was impressed by the excellent service provided by the staff. They were polite, attentive, and always ready to help with any request. Their genuine care for guests made our stay even more enjoyable.Overall, I highly recommend Moon Palace Resort to families looking for a fantastic vacation spot. We had such a wonderful time that we are already planning to return, and I will definitely recommend this resort to anyone seeking a family-friendly destination.

This resort is very beautiful. Our room was really nice with an ocean view. The beds are nice and comfortable. Our room had a hot tub in it, which was such a bonus. The room service was amazing. There are a lot of restaurants in this resort, so you will not get sick of the food and the international buffet changes every other day as well. This resort is very private and the beach is private as well, so no randoms will show up.
