Very nice resort with a lot of amenities and great service. The pools and beach area are very nice. We enjoyed hanging out by the beach and playing volleyball in the sand. The food and drink selection was nice for it being an inclusive resort. As far as service goes, the most memorable employee during our stay was Ricky, who organized the beach volleyball and iguana feeding tours. He was super friendly and entertaining.
The only few downsides were that our room was really far from the pools and beach. Also the check-in and check-out process was a pain! Set aside plenty of time on your last day for the check-out process.

Lots of seating and chairs in good condition. Easy to get drinks. No long lineups atbars. Food was generally good. Negatives were the long drive from Cancun airport, we had an issue with our in room fridge (didn't work) and they did nothing about it. Room cleaning was sub par in my opinion. I would go again as we really enjoyed the pool and the beach but I would not say it's a 5 star resort.

This was suppose to be an amazing trip. Let me tell you it wasn’t. I was there last weekend checking keep being postponed several times. I understand hotel is busy whatever but don’t tell me to come back every 15 minutes for the same answer room is not ready. Then we were told out bags would be in the rooms. We get to the room no bags. They asked for $115 US DOLLARS per person for a friend to come to the lobby and say Hi to me. Room was extremely hot at night, coffee maker did not work. They brought in another one still did not work. The staff at the restaurants were very friendly and polite. The customer service was horrible. Take your money elsewhere.

It’s my last night here and I can’t wait to leave. We have been here for 6 nights. The only good things about this resort are the staff at all of the restaurants/bars.
We came here with family for a destination wedding. This resort was such a let down.
Check in is at 3 pm but our room wasn’t ready until 5 pm. We arrived at 4 pm, and I previously notified the hotel of what time we would arrive, so we did not arrive early or unexpectedly.
The rooms are in major need of an update. They feel and look dingy. Hardware is worn. Toilets are uncomfortably small in only some rooms. Full length mirror was clearly missing from its spot on the wall. Other family members complained that their mirror fell off the wall.
There is a major issue with utilities. Power went out 4 times while we were here. One day, our water was shut off for 3 hours right before dinner time with no estimate for turning back on. You can smell sewage in some of the rooms. Other family members had the ceiling leak in their room. Others couldn’t shower without the shower flooding.
I am concerned about food safety. Bags of frozen nuggets and burger patties at Barefoot Grill are left out in the open and not in a refrigerator.
On our last night here, the schedule on the Hyatt resort app said there would be a mariachi show. There was no indication that to see the show, you need to purchase a bottle of alcohol, the cheapest being about 60 USD. This is absurd considering this is an all inclusive resort, and the show was in a public area of the resort (they blocked it off for this show). All of the other shows during our stay were free. We planned our dinner around this show and had to find another option.
Food is mediocre. Menus are very limited. The resort itself is very boring, with very few activities. There are shows at night, but not enough things to do during the day. Mosquito control is non existent - my entire body is covered in bites.
The restaurants and bars are understaffed. There is one hostess for 3 of the busiest restaurants, so just getting in the door to the hostess stand takes a long time. Food takes a long time to arrive because there is not enough staff. There is only one bar open at night, so it gets crowded and the wait for drinks is very long. None of this is the staff’s fault - they work very hard and try their best.
The dress code for the buffet restaurant makes no sense. It says casual, but men with tank tops are not allowed in. However, women with bikini tops, tank tops, and obvious swimwear are allowed in. Shorts are allowed in. Sandals are allowed in. But men’s tank tops are forbidden. Make it make sense.
That being said, the staff here are all lovely. Servers and bartenders are all friendly and so fun. Staff that do the night time activities (dancing, etc) are a blast. Concierge was great. They were all the best part.
Until this resort makes some changes, I cannot recommend staying here to anyone. Unfortunately, I had no choice because of the destination wedding, but every single person who stayed here for the wedding was disappointed. None of us will be returning.

I honestly don’t know why people feel the need to write poor reviews about this place. Maybe they are just miserable and have nothing better to do, or have super high expectations.
I have been in the Customer Service/Travel industry for many years and I have been nothing but impressed since the second I arrived. The staff are so friendly, the service is always served with a smile and so prompt. They will go above and beyond to make your experience comfortable, memorable and worth while.
Out of the many resorts in Mexico I have been to, this one has the best food by far. It’s so fresh and you can tell there is a lot of care and pride put into it.
My husband and I suffered a serious loss before coming on this trip and the staff was so acknowledging and sympathetic towards us. They truly made our trip so lovely. This resort felt so relaxing, quiet, clean and inviting.
I want to especially thank our fabulous server Omar, and Chef Francisco for really making our experience so special.
We look forward to returning!!!
