The entertainment team are all amazing, keeping everyone in the holiday spirit and getting everyone involved. Especially Arturo and Wilbert bringing the energy and good vibes every single day! Cleaners have the room looking beautiful daily. The restaurant staff have all been polite and accommodating. The beach bar staff have all been exceptional. Very attentive and keeping everyone happy ! By far my favourite bar out of the choices. The only downside so far is the seaweed on the beach which is natural and cannot be helped, but a short walk left down the beach you can find a lovely little lagoon! As an independent travel agent, I would highly recommend this hotel to my clients. I couldn’t fault it in the slightest and definitely living up to its 5* reputation.

The grounds were beautiful here! The staff was friendly! The price was definitely reasonable! Restaurants were quite good! It is a huge resort, so if you are handicapped or limited in mobility, it could be challenging! Everything is quite a distance. There are several shuttles going around, but sometimes it's a wait. My only two real complaints about it were that my husband and I had a lounge chair on our second last day for about an hour, and we had been there a week. They definitely need several more lounge chairs! And no fault of the resort at all the beach is uninviting due to the vast amount of seaweed coming in! They do their best to keep it cleared, but it's challenging for them because it is never-ending! My only suggestion would be to read the reviews and believe them, good bad and ugly! All in all, I would not say I would never go again, and I would not day I would. All in all, we enjoyed our time!

We were among the very fortunate that we had rooms that were excellent and facing the pool. That’s the best thing I can say about it service is nonexistent maintenance is nonexistent the staff are wonderful.. And the Mexican restaurant is fantastic. Also, the French restaurant.. We heard numerous horror stories of no hot water, no air-conditioning water on the floor. None of the mini fridges were functional.. Numerous people had to be moved two or three times to find a room that was suitable.. I’m only giving them my reading because the staff is good. The management is horrendous.

Two of my friends got food poisoning from the resort, our sink was falling apart, the mirror in the bathroom was damaged, the bathtub fixtures with pitted and old, the rooms were filled with mosquitoes, most of the 5 star reviews on here are because they offer you a bottle of tequila for a 5 star review. The beach front has wave breaks which unfortunately hold all the seaweed in which isn't horrible since you can go to the resort next door to go swimming. This is only the tip of the iceberg, please do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs. Oh and all the fresh fruit was flavorless. Edit: There a definitely incentives for giving good reviews, the staff that organizes the daily activities came by when me and my friends were by the pool and said if we give then good reviews they would give us a bottle of tequila, I refused but my wife wrote one and so did one of the people we were with, when they asked for the bottle of tequila the workers said that they need 5 reviews for the bottle. Like if you look at the majority of the good reviews the person who wrote them usually hasn't reviewed anything before. I'd didn't mention it before but there is a major push to sell timeshares by the staff. When we arrived we were told to come to a welcome session the next day which we found out was just code for try to sell you a time share. Needless to say we did not take part. I said it before, I'll say it again, avoid at all costs, not worth the price we paid to stay there

Service was great, Daniel at the main buffet was outstanding ! Definitely made us feel welcomed and well served. We had to change rooms due to a mosquito infestation and a few maintenance problems , once we moved it was slightly better. Rooms are definitely run down but over all experience was good if you’re not spending your time in your room.
