It would be a 5* review if was not for the reserved areas that are barely used.
Employees are really really nice and helpful, buffet is varied and for all tastes, but the best places on the pools are just for the "select club" - that is not even offered or explained at the check-in.
No idea how it works, just that you are send out of the best pools areas if you hadn't. In high season it would maybe make sense, but with a half empty hotel seems just annoying, since the places are mostly empty all the day.

We've only eaten here, at their evening buffet. Delicious, ample, civilised. Very reasonably priced, too!
Why "civilised"? We're staying at the other VIVA resort in Cala Mesquida, which caters to families, and its restaurants do not offer pleasant dining experiences, what with squalling children and dishes that are geared towards quick consumption and tastelessness. As VIVA Resort guests, their 18+ resort is open to us. And we're VERY appreciative of that!

I've put a full review on Tripadvisor, but might as well post something here as well.
Went with my other half for a week in the sun and we weren't disappointed.
The service was amazing, food and drinks were great, and the activities on offer were great fun.
We were booked for a week all inclusive, we arrived Friday afternoon and our bags were taken to our room. We then went for lunch at the bistro and were impressed with the standard of the food there.
We spent the rest of the week drinking and eating way more than we normally would, so made sure to use the gym and get involved in some of the activities on offer. Marcel is a credit to the hotel and you should definitely go out for one of the walks with him.
All the staff were great - thanks to everyone for a great stay!

There were a few niggles in that in the bathroom there was no loose soap or shampoo and conditioner. No bags for sanitary purposes and no shower caps. When I asked for a shower cap reception told me to put a plastic bag on my head.. The buffet was mediocre. In the bar area there was a shortage of waiters. Lunch was served in the bar area. There was no changes to the set menu so for a 10 day or 2 week stay it came monotonous. There was no waiter service in the pool area. I would certainly not class this hotel as luxurious. I must say that the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I’ll be doing a full review on trip advisor soon but…if you’ve just booked this place, relax. It’s excellent. Impeccable management (from the fresh flowers to the water quality in the pools). Staff helpful bright and attentive. Location calm and peaceful. AI food is the best we’ve ever had and the AI drinks menu is impressive. The entertainment is very good indeed (The Motown History guys especially). The harp playing during breakfast was sublime.
If you’re looking at these reviews in order to make a decision, go ahead and book it. You won’t regret it.
