Booked a room for a week in December2023 - low season and pretty quiet town of Porto Cristo! Original room booked was very tiny. Upgraded to a sea facing room with balcony which was worth the extra charge just for the view. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Overall the hotel is rundown and in need of repairs/upgrades; no hot water for a couple of days.convenient to walk around.

The oldest hotel in the area but it has been upgraded to modern standards. Good location in front of port and small beach.
2 separate building with main one providing bar and restaurant.
Rooms in rear building are nicked appointed but very compact.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Very decent self service restaurant with plenty of options at meal times. Pro Cristo not really place for 2 week holiday but ideal for long weekend break

This Hotel and Annexe is spotlessly clean. Can't fault the cleanliness or the location. The rooms on the front face straight out over the promenade and beach. Wonderful view . Our room in the annexe was really spotless unfortunately just a little on the small size. We had to put the suitcase on the table as there wasn't enough room around the bed or on the floor anywhere. We did have a balcony , very narrow , three floors up, overlooking the rear alleyway , where the dustbins and dumped sofas are. Don't let that put you off though. The hotel e mailed me for feed back , so I told them about my experience. They replied with an explanation . As I was travelling with my in laws , booked on the same flights and reservation , staying at the same hotel, in the same week , paid the same amount, but apparently there was no notification on the booking that we wanted rooms close together. So we were in the annexe and they were at the front with a balcony view ! The annexe rooms are cheaper on the website too. So the lesson to be learned is , let your booking make clear you want a sea view , or a balcony or not the annexe. The food is excellent, great choice , plenty too. Service excellent, polite friendly staff, plenty of seating , a games room but the pool is tiny. On the website it looks huge. I think the photo was taken by an Estate Agent . There is a small Gym , not everyone's choice I know and a small Spa. There are shops restaurants and bars nearby too. All in all I would recommend this Hotel , just remember what i said when you book.

Asked politely if we could sit down for a drink (we’re staying down at the marina, not the hotel) and were rudely told to leave as we’re not hotel guests.. that’s fine! Just communicate it nicely and don’t say ‘leave goodbye’. Looks like a nice hotel otherwise

Tiny bedrooms. Nowhere to store luggage - considered storing our 2 bags on the balcony, eventually stacked them against the bedroom door after we retired for the night, this created a fire hazard but we had no choice. Ridiculous for a 4 star hotel. Small pool. Our bedroom was in a building across the road behind the hotel, therefore no sea views.
Positives. Service was good. Location is good - just beside the beach & near the restaurants
