Our time at the hotel was fantastic; I fell in love with the view from our room—it was so beautiful. The breakfast was superb, and we used our level access for snacks and drinks.
We stayed in the Level Junior Suite, and the view was so stunning that I didn't want to leave the room. I was quite sad on the day of departure. It's definitely a hotel worth every penny; I highly recommend it.

We have stayed in several Melia hotels before, and so far, we have always been very satisfied with the standard, food, cleanliness, and overall service. Unfortunately, this time we cannot share our previous satisfaction. We chose the 4-star Melia South Beach hotel in Majorca, and it was a big mistake. The hotel may have 4 stars, but it has clearly seen better days. The first room we were given was dirty, the shower cosmetics had damaged dispensers, the floor was smeared with something, overall the standard was very poor. We asked for a room change and, for an extra charge, we moved to another room.
The hotel interior is quite old; the corridors are very worn-out and dingy, and some of the hotel doors look like they've been through quite a few battles. One evening, we found smashed beer bottles by the elevator. We reported it to the reception, but no one seemed to care. The bottles were there for several hours, as well as a dirty rag on the corridor floor and some uncleaned fruit. The breakfast selection was okay, except for the awful coffee, which shouldn't even be called coffee. Overall, we definitely won't be returning to this hotel. The standard in such a large chain like Melia should be maintained consistently, especially since we flew straight from the 4-star Melia Avenida Americana in Madrid, where we couldn't fault anything.

We stayed at the Melia Calvia Beach hotel before this one, and we decided to extend our vacation to see this hotel as well, and it was definitely worth it. Our room was The Level Junior Suite on the 10th floor, and the view was amazing. The reception staff were very friendly in overall our stay was great.

Everything is excellent as far as the appointments at the room and the cleanliness of the rooms however, there’s no chair or way to sit up straight and be comfortable you have to sit in a chair that leans you so far back with you almost lying down. Other than that everything is perfect.
All the restaurants are wonderful but they don’t serve any light meals like a lunch for sandwiches things like that is always a heavy meal at every restaurant on the premises. We had to go across the street to find more casual places for lunch.

Firstly I will point out the positives
1. Reception upon arrival was nice and clean and the check in was smooth, staff didn’t really interact but that’s fine.
2. Two large pool areas with clean towels available everyday.
3. Lounge seats - never had an issue getting a lounger no matter what time we arrived and the hotel was pretty busy.
4. Decor in room and general hotel is nice.
5. Area is nice and just right if you want to be close to the main area but not right in the centre of it all. Just steps away from the local public beach.
6. Located next door to Nikki Beach and if you are looking for a quiet relaxing day by the pool, forget it. Constant loud music from this place all day. Didn’t bother me actually quite enjoyed it but might annoy some people.
7. During my stay it was my birthday and to my surprise the hotel left a bottle of cava and two pieces of cake in the room for me. Nice touch!! Thank you.
8. Breakfast has everything you could want from freshly squeezed Orange juice, cereals, cheeses, hot breakfast including omelettes, pancakes, fruit, breads, cakes etc. good selection.
9. Little fridge in room is handy but be careful as it is full on arrival and prices are steep. We moved everything out and put aside and used for our own stuff bought in shop across the road.
Negatives (some are personal preference and not a reflection of a bad hotel)
1. Description of bed in Sea Front View Room says double but it’s actually two singles pushed together and not suitable for sharing with partner.
2. Balcony on Sea Front View Room is only “Juliet” style and no space to sit out on. I personally like a balcony to enjoy in the evenings. Also would be handy to dry wet swimwear and towels.
Tip for drying clothes use the hangers and hang off glass.
3. Bathroom - there is absolutely no privacy in the toilet/shower room as the walls are made of glass with a slight gap between door and wall. Frosting on glass does not reach all the way up and down. Hated the bathroom situation and this needs to be addressed as it is a constant comment of people.
4. Floor in the room is not swept during daily clean up and the general floor area is also not done. Dust and sand a constant sight on the floors in the hotel corridor.
Not sure I would stay here again and it would only be because of the lack of privacy the bathroom offers. Other than that, Hotel is nice.
