My boyfriend and I recently stayed at GR Santa Eulalia and it was a perfect getaway for a relaxing vacation by the sea. From the moment we arrived until the moment we (reluctantly haha) checked out, every aspect of our experience exceeded our expectations.
The hotel's infrastructure is excellent. Every detail, like the stylish decor has been meticulously designed to ensure the utmost comfort and luxury and I really liked that. Our room was very nice, elegantly appointed with modern furnishings, providing a haven of relaxation after a day of sun-soaked adventures.
The hotel's facilities are equally impressive. We spent blissful hours lounging by the pool, or on the beach, sipping on refreshing cocktails as we soaked up the sun's rays :). The culinary offers were a gastronomic delight as well (see attached picture)
But my favorite part and most important for me personally was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the warm welcome upon our arrival to the personalized attention and thoughtful gestures throughout our stay, every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was nothing short of perfection.
So, if you're seeking whether a romantic getaway or a rejuvenating retreat, this hidden gem is sure to leave you spellbound. We can't wait to return to this slice of paradise in the near future 😍!!!

Great hotel location with an amazing private beach, lovely views. Hotel is nice and clean and the staff are amazing. Rooms were pretty outdated, the bed and pillows not so comfy and I gained a stiff neck from it. If the beds were improved the room itself would of been amazing. That’s the only downfall of it all, other than that, the room had an equipped kitchen with a microwave, stove and sink. Super handy. There is also a free shuttle to take you to old/new town which is very useful. We only stayed for 4 nights and wished to have stayed longer, but in the future we will definitely be back.

We stayed April 21st - 28th, 2024.
Staff are lovely and very friendly. They will go out of their way to help with anything. They all speak fluent English.
The WiFi is VERY unreliable. Sometimes it isn’t there at all. Sometimes it says the password is incorrect. Sometimes it says it can’t connect. When it was working, it was so slow it wasn’t worth using. Make sure you have sorted out free/cheap roaming, or get a Portuguese eSIM online. Expect to be using mobile data most of the time.
You get a black card per guest that you exchange for a free pool towel, then return it to get another card again. Lots of guests don’t do this. So you can return their towels to get additional cards, for more towels.
We were half board.
Breakfast is available 7am - 10:30am. Good buffet with standard options: Full English, fruit, pastries, cereal, cold meats, juice, coffee etc.
For our first four nights, dinner was the beach front restaurant (Restaurante Atlântico). Really good menu. Starter, main, dessert and coffee were all included. Drinks were extra (including water).
For our last three nights, dinner was a buffet in the hotel itself. A varied selection of hot and cold Mediterranean food. Ok, but nothing special. No drinks menu, so you have to know what to ask the staff for. A bit of a bait and switch, to start off with Restaurante Atlântico, which was really nice, and then be moved to the buffet in the hotel, which was mediocre at best.
Drinks at the hotel are similar to the prices in Albufeira. e.g. a pint of lager is €6.
There are some bars and restaurants about a 15 minute walk from the hotel, in Santa Eulália. There’s also a Spar there for basic corner shop stuff. Or there’s a little shop in the grounds of the Alfagar Village hotel, about a 10 minute walk in the other direction.
Albufeira is about an hour walk. With lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Or Uber and Bolt operate in the area.

This place is all about the location, access to beach is through the beach club restaurant and has beautiful views of the local coastal area. The hotel itself also houses a luxury spa with a thalassotherapy circuit, gym and treatments.
We stayed in an self catering apartment which was nice enough, a bit stuffy and could do with an upgrade although it did have a bath and the bed was comfortable.

My family and I were here for Christmas. The christmasbuffet was amazing. Well cooked meats and delicious side dishes and desserts. The resort was beautiful and all in all a luxurious experience. I'll recommend.
