Right here is my honest opinion of this ✌️*5 resort in antalya turkler region, litrelly just got back today the 25/4/24 for 10 days, so want to review whilst the brain is still in remembrance 😀, checked in with the mrs & grandaughter(4) on the 10/04/24. Used hoppa transfers who way way cheaper then travel xtra who wanted £178 for transfers. Hoppa £78 🤨, transfer bothways went very professional & on time and super clean vito black vans. Any how back to alan xafira the 5* ✌️ resort, checked @ 3:30am as came on a late flight, 1 chap behind the desk as expected because its was late, kind of semi friendly *well it was 3:30am 😃, checkin was super smooth within 5 mins. Given the usual lowdown the where abouts the do's n dont's told everything was closed so no late night munchies or bellyfulls, which i personally found quite dissapointing, because ive travelled many resorts all over turkiye and all most all do some kind of much, anyhow mt desk man asked if i wanted help to the room to which i said yes, no porter at that so mr deskman shouted the security gaurd asking him to oblige he took us up to room and showed us in, brought luggage in 2 suicases and then stood there expecting a tip or (bakhshis) as its called fair enough i gave him 100tl as i had nothing smaller, he thanked & walked away, the room room was.spacious enough for 3 beds were a little tired but comfertable enough to sleep, as we went to the bathroom NO TOILETRIES 😲 to my amaze straight away i was like wha..🤬 this is a 5⭐️ no way hozay..good job we bought our own phew. Wardrobes no gowns no slippers no anything but few coathangers 🫨. They only had them local fitness centre shampoo disposal machines that you push to get get out of 1 near sink 1 in shower area oh and the main shower head pressure forget about it, * so if your expecting to go and find toiletres and robes ect you wont cuz there is none 🤣,
The rooms are very tired, 100% TLC needed. The food breakfast was limited because they had just opened 1 day before we got there.yet they got.busier but the menu stayed thr same 😀 the dinner & evening meal was half decent cold at times but decent, the non fizzy drinks on offer the shadiest watered down you will ever taste basically taste like fruited water, pepso fanta is there, no comment on alcohol because i dont drink.
The waiter service is non existant its all about self service here 😆, yet they put a tip box in the food hall lol, the staff is friendly though i never came across anyone rude, the pools are amazing needs TLC as the tiling & grout is falling appart, indoor pool is empty has been for sometime, so no heated pool, the desserts though ufff especially the milkmake hattsoff to the maker of that, the room cleaners are a joke may as well just ask the guests to DIY 😃. Overall tovsum things up
If you get a cheal deal and dont mind DIY then u may like it, but it is no 5⭐️ joint i personally will never go back, oh almost forgot on the 1st day the lift broke down and we was stuck in it aling with a lady from the south of england for 15 mins, after which they slipped door open and asked to leave. No apology of anysort.
Most people rating 5/5 on here clearly have no sense of what a 5⭐️ truly is meant to be, a grand building that is very poorly managed in all areas that 100% needs TLC to make it shine

Don’t waste your money. Dirty, over crowded and poorly located. From the moment we got there the reps and activity sellers told us never to come back, it’s a terrible resort and not a great area. This came to be true. The room was ok though not particularly clean. The food was very disappointing and bland, it clearly sat out unattended for hours and was reused. It’s not safe for children as there’s absolutely no health and safety management! Right next to the kids area is an open gate onto a worksite and an open door into what was once an indoor pool that now lays empty with a loose net covering and a rooms that pilled high with storage. The male staff that tended the only outdoor bar are rude and unprofessional, they will flirt with you in the slimiest way. The coffee machine at said bar smells like foul milk and rot, which means anywhere in a 5 meter radius is unbearable. You can tell this has never been cleaned.
The best thing about this hotel is the Turkish spa and the treatments you receive, which are lovely. Though when we stayed there was an incident with a strange Turkish man who urinated in the sauna and was walking around the spa when we received our treatments making me very uncomfortable and the staff had little intention to intervene. The pool is quite nice too but it’s massive and again, there is only 1 bar and 1 person at a time serving. There’s no poolside/table service and if you want anything other that the 1 beer or 2 premixed “cocktails” you had to pay. Though they spoke little English to asking what they have/can make is futile. There’s not a menu/drinks list in sight so it’s all a guessing game and you get a tiny plastic cup that last about 4 sips after all the effort. Not exactly “all inclusive”. I will not return and advise any western travels with standards to avoid. It’s cheap but not cheap enough to warrant the quality.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week at this hotel. Other reviews moaned about grumpy staff but some smiled and some didn't, so what they are there to work! And as for moaning about going to the spa for pool towels...get over yourselves. The pools were fantastic though. But for a 5 star hotel to only have one local beer in small plastic cups is not on, especially the plastic wastage. The food was ok but definitely not aimed at Brits, more locals and eastern europeans. The hotel itself was clean and very pretty. Rooms were very spacious.

Five star: Guests enjoy an extensive range of facilities and comprehensive services. Properties are well designed with attention to detail. Luxury is apparent across all areas of hotel operations.
So this hotel is absolutely 5* based on the above, the services, design and attention to detail, somebody has spent an absolute fortune on this hotel on the outset. It has somebody with very deep pockets spending a fortune on the design, detail, fixtures and furnishings of this hotel it is deluxe in the monetary sense and therefore worthy or at least earned its 5* rating.
But you have other criteria which is certainly not 5*.
Management and operations are sub par with a lack of staff and organisation it's a bit of a mess.
Cleaning and maintenance are just about getting by with failures at every turn.
Food is very subjective and could be explained as varied and in abundance to absolute rubbish with very little to choose from. There is so much according to perspective its difficult to give a review in the positive light.
I am reviewing after 10 days into a 14 night stay as I feel waiting till my trip is over it may be more negative which is more of a personal review than a useful one.
Straight away you should access the price and remember the cost at time of writing is roughly £25-£35 per head per night. To put that into context in the UK that's a hostel with no food, no pool, no staff in some hell hole somewhere that really needs to be remembered!
However xafira it's not advertised as so, which means expectations are going to be higher plus you are spending more money to get here so the expectation will be higher.
Will you get your money's worth? Absolutely.
It's free food, free beer, pool, sun, room, it's worth the money 100%.
Did I expect more yes I did. Who am I to compare.. well no one in your eyes as you will guaranteed see things differently. However I came last year to the same area different hotel and paid alot less, we assumed as we were experienced in the all Inc we know the score but we had too high expectations.
There is many things the hotel could do better and for the benefit of the hotel potentially reading the review wanting to make improvements a few areas for improvement would be:
Cleaning & maintenance! It's not clean or maintained! Just isn't, least not to a high standard. Our room although we got on with it, it was not detailed in anyway, the toilet door doesn't close, water stains over everything, lights out, sink was cracked, fridge doesn't work, fridge nothing replenished in 10 days and counting, stained linen (bedding and towels was changed thank you). That's the room. Hotel: power cuts, bins overflowing, lifts were terrible, staff didn't speak English, no one cleaned pool area. Some of this was down to the guests.
Food: onion rings & mash for breakfast every day... I'm pretty adventurous but even I had chicken and salad most evenings, for breakfast a grown man eating Coco pops there is something fundamentally wrong imo, we opted to eat away from the hotel half of our stay. That's not to say there isn't variety there is but for who I don't know, some very strange combinations for English people. Mash and Brussel sprouts for breakfast? You can generate a meal there is lots of choice.
We upgraded to pool view which I wouldn't recommend as the pool area blasts out music every night till 11pm or later then kids start running down the halls from about 7am so for me not a big drinker not much sleep to be had. There are other things of no fault of the hotel like: other nationalities who do not appreciate or acknowledge things like cues, other people, children all of which are barged out the way like they don't exist this is the all Inc way so for us it's our last time having a holiday like this in this area. If your well prepared & thick skinned you can have an awesome time I've seen it just didn't feel it for me and mine.

I will unfortunately leave more negative than positive reviews about the Xafira hotel. I'll start with the positives.
Positives:
- The pancakes were good.
- The pool is nice.
- The hotel's activities are decent but not outstanding.
- The hotel transfer is well-organized and punctual.
- The hotel is well designed for wheelchair users.
Now, here are the negative points about the hotel.
Negatives:
- The food is bland and repetitive but still edible (I personally finished my plates). Tip: Even if you have paid for the all-inclusive package, there are inexpensive restaurants outside where you can have a good meal. Don't hesitate to go there.
- The hotel is dirty overall (pool, room, cafeteria, etc.). The showers are dirty and seem outdated and poorly maintained. There's a nauseating odor in the bathroom (coming from the sink or toilet). Tip: Close the toilet lid to prevent odors. The cleaning staff doesn't always provide new towels. Tip: sneak some towels from the maid's cart so you'll have enough. The cleaning staff doesn't always leave water in your room, even though it's supposed to.
- There are sometimes queues, but I think it's due to a lack of staff. There are especially queues for pancakes.
- Some employees are nice, but others are not at all. They don't communicate well in English. Tip: Use a Turkish translator to facilitate communication with them. This way, you'll get help more easily and avoid misunderstandings.
- The hotel is not only dirty but also dark. The corridors are never lit, and it's unclear why. It feels like an urban exploration. Tip: There is no solution for this.
- The "all-inclusive" is not as all-inclusive as you might expect. If you want internet access in your room and throughout the hotel, you'll have to pay extra per person. Massages are also charged separately. Tip: Pay if you can afford it, especially for Wi-Fi if you like to use your phone a lot, even on vacation.
- The elevator is slow. Tip: Take the stairs.
- The activities outside the hotel are a big rip-off. Paying 50 euros per person for a boat trip and only seeing hotels or dirty places is disappointing. Tip: Don't pay for activities outside. Try to find cheap activities online and plan ahead to avoid tourist traps.
- The beach is dirty. The sand itself looks dirty, and the sea water appears unclean as well. It makes you wonder if this beach is properly maintained. Tip: Avoid going to the beach. Prefer the pool.
- The hotel is isolated from everything. You have to rely on the hotel to get a taxi because we couldn't book an Uber or anything with a foreign phone number. This limits your freedom to do activities on your own.
Conclusion: You can stay at this hotel if you're not very picky and can accept the quality of a two or three-star hotel. But given the price, I don't recommend this hotel. I believe there are much better hotels for much less money. There are three-star hotels that are a hundred times better than this so-called "five-star" hotel and cost less. I'm really disappointed, even though I must admit that getting some sun and enjoying the pool and a few hotel activities did us good. I will end on a positive note by saying that compared to reviews from a few years ago, the hotel has improved on some points. This suggests that the hotel is making efforts (but perhaps not enough?). We should also consider the impact of the Covid crisis. Maybe the recovery is taking time, and it's not necessarily due to a lack of willingness on their part?
