Spacious apartment and generally quiet. The apartment complex is located outside of the main restaurant / cafe area however we had a hire car so this didn't bother us too much. House keeping was good.
Drawbacks
- shower was absolutely freezing all the time
- only one set of key for an apartment - this wasted a lot of time for us leaving the key at reception etc
- dated and shabby interior
- can be queues for reception, some staff have limited English and rarely more than one person there

Stayed at the Sands Beach resort last week. Firstly I will give the pros the rooms themselves and big with all amenities like a fridge/fridge Freezer which was great to have and others what we didn't use like a microwave cooker ect . Rooms are very clean but ours definitely could do with a upgrade . Maids came daily with new towels ect but never gave any new toilets rolls or shampoo so we had to buy these in the local Hiper Dino Supermarket which is great. It's about a 5 min walk from the main areas of Costa Teguise so that was also great. Some cons now and the worst con for sure was there is absolutely no privacy on the balcony if there is someone in next doors room. Your literally sharing a balcony and there is nothing to separate them only a door entrance with no door. This was the worst part of our holiday as the neighbour was never off there balcony and there was no relaxing cause you felt obliged to chat at times. Our outdoor pool we couldnt use as it was mainly for sports athletes training which they did daily. There was no WiFi in our room which wasn't a problem for us as we had mobile data and TV wasn't working properly it said Audio only and I got tv part on and there was nothing im very tech savy and i couldnt get anything. Again not a problem as we didn't wanna watch TV. Telephone in room and no line either again we didn't complain about any of these cause we didn't want them but might be a issue for others. On our last night we decided to head to the bar near reception to only be told there was a private party on and you needed a wristband to enter. Went to reception to ask was that right as we were paying guests in the hotel only for him to snap it's private go to the other bar in the complex ,which we did and it was closed so we just left it as were not ones to complain but wanted to state it all here as it wasn't nice how he spoke to us. Saying all this Costa Teguise is a lovely place but will not be staying here again.

Great place to stay, some will say it's a bit dated but I think it just looks authentic for the Area. There are loads of pools, and if you want a sea view upgrade to the beach front apartments. Great for young families, and very close the resort if you fancy a meal and beer.

Nice quiet location on the edge of town, but should be playing a bit of toto & foreigner over the pa on arrival… the whole place is a blast from the 1980s & in need of maintenance & refit. feeling quite rundown, the photos and + reviews on here definitely give a rose tinted view… Service okay, rooms a good size but certainly not 4*.. compared with same rated 4* hotel next door it’s looking very dilapidated. Bed was truly awful - small and uncomfortable. Seems to be used mostly as a training camp for sporting groups
