This is a very busy hotel and we are here at the end of April. Although rates as 4 star in the UK it would be a 2.5 star but you get what you pay for, AI is fine food and drinks all good on our last night we ate at a local restaurant and the food was the same quality for 184 euros a family of 7
Good points
If you arrive before 11 pm, food is left ready for you
Views of the sea from your room
Lively atmosphere in the evening
Pools salt water but good
Short walk to the beach - star beach free complex, which has a great nice sandy beach
Bad points
Room are in need of updating, feels like last done in the early 2000s, and has been repainted ever since
Bed linen is clean but shower height for people under 5ft 10
Air con could be quite noisy, but only had it on once
Queues to get drink at the bar
Often, no loo roll in reception toilets.
Would l come back. It's good value for money on a package, so yes.

AVOID THIS HOTEL! Worst hotel you could ever imagine.
During our 7 day stay, we had to move 3 times. The rooms were unhygienic and as you can see from the photos. The yellow water was gooey and sticky in our original room, therefore we went down to reception to report it. The older lady with blonde hair and her counterpart- the younger man with black hair are a disgrace! The man told us that maintenance would be up to our room within 30 minutes, which turned out to be a complete lie! We left the hotel (we did this most nights as the hotel was riddled with children aged 16-18 on a school trip being rowdy) and returned back around an hour later. The water was still yellow and it turned out the maintenance man was never going to arrive as he was supposedly ‘absent’. After this, my girlfriend asked when it would be fixed, to which the two receptionists replied “first thing in the morning”.
The next day, we woke up at 8:30AM and went down to reception, we asked when the maintenance man would be coming, the same to receptionists as the night prior said it would be fixed within the next hour. To our surprise. We arrived back to our hotel room at 1PM after a walk to Star Beach and a sunbathe around the pool and of course to our surprise it wasn’t fixed. We demanded a room change as it had been almost 36 hours since either of us were able to get a wash which is just ridiculous considering we had both had suncream and oil on all day.
We got the keys to our new room which actually turned out to be a villa room with the private pool (1 of 8 in the hotel). The room was actually quite nice and we had no complaints this time, however we were told that we would have to move again due to the room already being booked up; they said that we would be moved into another villa the next day. All this messing about cause my girlfriend and I so much stress and anxiety which ultimately led to us arguing when we were trying to enjoy ourselves on holiday.
The second picture I uploaded was of our third room (which didn’t end up being a villa room as promised) which had stained bedsheets. The room also only had a pull out shower with no big shower head, when we asked for a bath in our room too.
I could go on for ages about the uncleanliness and how bad the hotel is. One night we specifically asked for a vodka lemonade. We told the bartenders that our drinks tasted off and to make us another and they were adamant that there was no issue. The next morning we were told we were drinking rum and lemonade because the hotel had run out of vodka that night. Not only is that a hazard to people who may be allergic to rum but to the general people it’s shocking! The hotel also promises to use premium spirits in cocktails- which you have to pay for which is bizarre for an all inclusive. We were given the regular house vodka as opposed to Smirnoff vodka.
To conclude, I will be putting a claim in via EasyJet who provided our package holiday and I hope the hotel and its manager see this and sort it out ASAP before the main season starts in May. If you’re going to stay in this part of Greece, I would highly recommend Star Beach hotel which is a 10 minute walk from Mediterrano, not much more in price difference and way more luxurious as it’s where we ended up spending most our time.

the WORST hotel i’ve ever stayed in
this isn’t a 4* 😂😂
I’ve been to a lot of places in greece and this tops one of the worst hotels i’ve ever stayed in, when we arrived they put me in a room, dirty. towels are stained, the noise outside the room was unbelievably loud, i didn’t sleep. she changed us rooms but literally moved us next door? so i gave it a chance and it was the same so she moved us again. so we had to change rooms multiple times, i hadn’t slept in 2 days at this point. the hotel room we got moved to was again dirty, stained bloody towels, we found fruit flies in the food/ bugs everywhere in the bedroom (all over the dressing table). and the room smelt so bad bc of the drains, I felt sick. The hotel is rammed with 100+ school trips which is fine they need somewhere to stay but it was just hectic for how small the reception/food area is. they have loads of rooms but such little space downstairs, it was awful. The food and drinks are absolutely vile, I had stomach ache for days and I will be doing a test for any parasites when i’m back home bc it wont surprise me. It’s 100% not a family hotel and please don’t take your kids there because there’s no entertainment/ much stuff to do for the kids. There’s a hotel called starbeach that is a huge resort and we spend most of our time there by the pool as it was a lot nicer, the staff are a lot nicer too, as the staff here are just rude.
If a hotel has a lot of bad reviews, don’t ignore them. people post them for a reason! the pictures are a lot nicer than real life so don’t let it fool you. Will definitely be putting a claim in to get my money back. Never again. Never been so excited to go home.

This will be the most honest reveiw you see - let me start by saying me and my partner (24 and 30) are simple people from Yorkshire UK with no children . We do not need a lot to be happy . In our opinion this hotel is not a 4 star more like a 3, which doesn’t mean it’s a bad hotel but not what it says on the tin kind of thing . We did have a lovley time on holiday , we stayed for 10 nights all inclusive. The food is edible but not amazing so we did eat out a lot , there is a amazing cafe 5 minutes away on foot called “AVRA Creating Feelings” I would recommend that if you get fed up of the food .
The hotel staff was very friendly , I have seen some reveiw that suggested other wise however you need to think , how did that guest act towards the staff? As we have seen the restaurant manager shout at children yes , BUT it was well justified , when the parents are treating the staff like babysitters and leaving their children unattended to cause issues . One boy was touching food and putting it back and hitting machines in the little arcade so this was justified.
Honestly do not believe all the Karen’s . If you do not have your nose in the air and you are looking for a nice break away it’s honestly fine .
The rooms are very basic , not the most modern and not shiny clean but clean enough not “dirty”. The rooms are quite far away from reception depending on where you get put so if you have mobility issues let them know prior so you get a room with no stairs, as we had to climb 4 flights to get to our room ( we are young so didn’t matter to us).
The veiw from our room was beautiful!
If you turn left out of the hotel and walk 15 mins you will get to all the shops
We was caught off guard and completely unaware of the tourist tax for the hotel, which is around about €7 per day, we got told this unexpected when we arrived. So we were €70 down before the holiday started, but if we were made aware of it, it wouldn’t be too bad.
All the local people were so lovely, I would definitely recommend the area if you are staying at the this hotel make sure you try the local aquarium we visited, and absolutely loved it.
If you find yourself too tired to walk the wallk back to the hotel, there is many taxis that will charge you about €8 to get back which we didn’t seem too bad.
I will mention the “all-inclusive” is not technically all inclusive, as the drinks only include tea , cofffee , pop, local beers, wines, vodkas, rums, and gins it doesn’t include any special drinks like ice coffees and cocktails. These are quite pricey in my opinion. This is the first time we’ve ever done all inclusive so we was unaware that this was the thing I was really looking forward to cocktails but I was not paying the prices.
However, on the back of that, I will also say they have a snack bar that is open from 11 am to 5 pm where you can constantly get things like chips and pizza if you are hungry and lunch is not on and it is by the side of the pool which is very convenient.
There is also an on-site shop which is extremely overpriced, but if you need something and do not want to walk to the shop it is there. There is a spa shop around about 5 to 10 minute walk away which is a lot cheaper.
Definitely do not pay to rent any towels for the pool !
If you keep walking after the spa, there is a lovely market that does them between five and €6 and you of course get to keep the towel and not just rent it for €10.
They have two quite large pools they are both salt water one quite deep and one not so deep so maybe better to take the kids. All in all if you are Going with the expectation of a glamorous hotel, this is not for you. however, if you’re very basic and I wanted a cheap and cheerful holiday. This is definitely for you. We do not regret our stay . I realise this review is probably the longest one you’ve ever seen, but I would’ve appreciated this before we came and I hope it helps people make their decision again I need to stress. We had a lovely holiday and I wouldn’t object to come in here again.

WORST HOTEL EVER. Don't trust the pictures and just overall don't come. We we're definetely in chok about how terrible this hotel was. Our room was not clean at all, dead mosqitues on the wall, blood on the wall, insects in the bathroom, spiders in every corner. We changes hotel the first night because we could not even sleep there... There were also overcrowded and only people who wanted to hear high music and drink wine from plastic glasses. You get the vibe.. And the area was terrible.. nothing around the hotel and if you walked for a while there were just parties everywhere. Just dont go
