My wife, her family and then ourselves as a couple have been visiting the Uyal or Pollentia for nearly two decades now. It is amazing to have been back, albeit briefly this time. The hotel is simply fantastic and for many it must be the best location available owing to the beach, the views, parking and facilities. We have come to know many of the staff over the years, none more than Cristina who represents everything we or anyone ever needs. As always we were so well looked after and enjoyed every second of our stay, the rooms are delightful and the new rooftop pool at the Uyal is second only to that in the Pollentia. As always we enjoyed a great breakfast each day and it was tasty with plenty for all needs. We were lucky to have a lovely sea view balcony and made use of this along with the roof top pool, this offers so much better value than paying for the beach beds (during the summer). We made a point of repeating our sunrise walk to Cala Bóquer, which is a must-do for anyone able. It is around 5.5 miles in total walking from and back to the hotel, along the front and into the Bóquer Valley. Until next time and hopefully many more decades to come.

Beautiful setting, lovely staff especially on reception. Easy to switch between the lovely hotel grounds with plenty of day beds and sun loungers with a nice smallish pool with the beach which is just over the quiet road. The sea isn't flat calm, but the breeze is welcome in the heat. The beach is sand but gets rocky as you go further out, which makes for good snorkeling.

This hotel is so amazing! I stayed the last 2 nights and it was so difficult to leave. The front desk ladies are SO nice helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was so good and the pool and Spa were great too. Lots of chairs to sit and loungers around the pool.

It's very difficult to find fault with this hotel. My only criticism would be the evening meal. Although I am extremely fussy! The staff, entertainment, facilities they're all first class.Fantastic pools and loungers or cabanas. Beach and beach bar literally across the road. Nice wee stroll to restaurants etc. I'm definitely coming back. Highly, highly recommended.
