I stayed at The Barcelo Aguamarina in the 2nd week October of 2023 towards the end of holiday season. We'll all I can say was I had an amazing time.
I walked into the Hotel and spoke to the receptionist in Spanish and she was taken aback. She replied back to me English and said thank you for speaking to her in her native language. From that moment onwards she spoke to me Spanish helping me out if I made any mistakes.
After checking in I went to my room which was amazing. They room overlooked the sea which was breath taking 5*
Quick change and straight down to the beach which is accessed through hotel.
All the staff are amazing they are so friendly and always ready stop and chat to you. Also another chance to practice my Spanish.
Food was on point and a vast selection at breakfast through to dinner. Also snacks avaliable at most times of the day.
To cut a long story short this hotel is amazing. I cant think of anything to fault this place. I will be returning. Thank you for an amazing time and making me feel so welcome

Hotel has direct access to beach/Cala. Pedal boats and paddle boards available to rent at a reasonable price.
Food and local drinks were the usual hotel standard.
Night entertainment was enjoyable. Although they are amateurs we were lucky to catch their interpretation of the greatest showman. They all got a standing ovation.
We were a party of 6 with an age range of 2 to 71.

I was visiting a mate who was staying and the place is really nice. Location couldn't be better with a beachfront ground floor and lift up to reception on street level. I paid for dinner, which my pal got as part of his AI. It was 25 e and was faultless. Very busy with a lot of Spanish tourists and splattering of other nations, food was predominantly Spanish, except for some obligatory pizza. I tried small bites of most of the offerings, and every single one was excellent. I especially liked the beef cheek stew. If I ever stay here again I would make a b-line for this place above others.

Location is perfect! Rooms are clean - but there is no trash bin in the room. There is a small one in the bathroom, that’s it. Food is good, but even though we were all inclusive they started charging us for drinks which is not specified anywhere. Elevators are not fully working - so if your room is on 7th floor good luck! One morning i woke up at 7am to go to pool side, and there were towels on the sunbeds already!

We stayed in this hotel for 8 days on half board last week and this is my honest review.
The staff is extremely friendly and helping, no doubt even after a busy high season they were still going hard with a lot of passion and commitment to satisfy the customer. +
The rooms were just okey, lack of clothing hangers were brought to our room after one call to the reception. +
When taking a shower we were served with a fluctuating water temperature, it just couldn’t stay consistent hot/cold switching every 5 seconds. -
The cleaning was done properly enough and every day we were served fresh towels +
However the pumps of all their facility uses like soap, conditioner, lotion were broken and we didn’t get a fix on that, so we just scooped it straight out of the bottle. -
The location of the hotel is very nice and close to the sea and just a 10 min walk or 5 min drive to a local town where you can find a lot of restaurants, bars, amusement parks. +
Parking near the hotel is where all hell begins, you are just unable to find any parking spot closer than 10 minutes walking to the hotel (bear in mind when renting a car). However the hotel does offer you a parking spot, for the lovely price off €18 per night, wich is absurdly much money just to park the car. If you do happen to park on the streets make sure the car is close and not in a dark spot because in ours got broken into the first night of our stay. Also take full ensurance because your car will come out with a lot of damage to the exterior after one week of parking in Mallorca. -
On your poolside and beach from the hotel the rush starts early. The battle of the towels is a real thing and also on the beach side the lovely €18 per day for a bed is charged to you. -
Because we were full board we had breakfast every day and dinner only once. The food really wasn’t to talk home about and we were actually able to switch our half board to have lunch instead of dinner. But that didn’t help much to the satisfaction of our stomach. So after one time of lunch we started eating out from then on.
There is every night in the hotel entertainment shows available and I guess with full board drinks are included. We never accompanied one of these shows but I believe if you are stuck in the hotel or have kids who can’t go out at night this is definitely a good choice.+
Now for you elderly or immobile people watch out with the elevator. There was just 1 small elevator wich was able to transfer a max of 4 people (without bags) to another floor. Waiting for the elevator to come to your floor just to go to dinner or outside of the hotel could easily take you up to 5-10 minutes of your time. -
We had a good stay but for the moment speaking I don’t think we will ever come back.
