Good last minute service other than the arrival taxi not turning up
Had the private transfer turned up at the airport on our arrival to take us to the hotel I would have given them a 5 star. But the fact that it wasted an hour of our time searching for them and in the end having to pay for a taxi. I was not impressed which wasn't a good start to our holiday and ended up with me in tears feeling very vulnerable. The holiday was booked at the last minute so I am hoping this was the reason for the mix up. Unfortunately due to COVID 19, I have been unable to make a complaint.
But once at the hotel I have to say everything was lovely and the staff were very helpful. I have a gluten intolerance and they couldn't have been more helpful, telling me each day which dishes I could eat from the buffet and making me special bread in the mornings for breakfast.
It was a pleasant change to swim in a warm pool each day.
We paid for the a la carte restaurant while we were there for 3 out of the 5 evenings, as we enjoyed the entertainment there as well. You could just turn up for a drink and the entertainment and not pay to eat if you want.
The buffet was very good, we just wanted to treat ourselves as a special getaway for us and it wasn't very expensive. £15 pp.
Thank you Fort Arabesque for a lovely getaway. We will be back.

Excellent value and service
Having timed out on the initial online booking the immediate follow up phone call was a little disconcerting as it smacked of pressure selling but once Kayden (the Holiday Gems representative) explained the actual booking format then the ongoing service and help proved to be excellent.
