Overall my experience is very positive. The staff are amazing and helpful.
On my early morning check in there was some misunderstanding as the travel agent didn't inform the hotel about early check in or even book to include the previous night. I suggested to the check in staff I would go and have breakfast and hopefully a room would be available. I was informed that I could not have complimentary breakfast until the next day. It would have been a wonderful expression of hospitality if the staff had the freedom to offer complimentary breakfast, especially after a night flight. I did eventually get a room and I was thankful for this.
I am still enjoying my stay and the wonderful experience of the hotel and staff.

We stayed here for our 15th anniversary and overall, the experience was good. Although there was some confusion during the booking process, the front desk staff were very kind and accommodating. They upgraded us to a higher floor and even offered complimentary coffee, which we truly appreciated. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a lovely view.
Dinner at Alloro was also enjoyable — the food was delicious and the staff were attentive, offering different options and ensuring we had a good dining experience.
The only disappointing part of our stay was the breakfast experience at Alloro. We had requested a small anniversary gesture from the staff, but the restaurant manager was unkind. He told us it would take 25–30 minutes as the staff were busy, and never came back to follow up. The only thing he mentioned was that a cake had to be pre-ordered and would arrive later in the day — which was surprising, as we never asked for a cake (we had already received one in the room). What we hoped for was something simple, like a small song or gesture. Unfortunately, no effort was made, not even a basic courtesy check on how our food was. This left us a little disheartened, especially since it was the off-season, which makes us wonder how they manage during busier times.
Overall, despite the breakfast experience, it was still a nice stay with some thoughtful touches from the hotel team.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient and easily accessible, with several shops, supermarkets, and restaurants around. The check-in was very smooth, and they upgraded me to a suite which was spacious and nicely decorated. The staff were mostly really attentive and helpful. Everything i asked of the housekeeping or the management was served or taken care of within minutes. Also, they provided information about what guests may need outside the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, though it slightly lacked variety in the cheese and meat section. There is a pool which was heated. If you go by car, you can use the parking lot. The management constantly checked out on the guests to make sure everything was going well and their needs were catered to.
They offer discounted or free beach club access to the guests (July 2025: Riva Beach Club).
I would definitely recommend this hotel and will also go back in my future trips to Dubai.

We had a great 30 night stay here. The location is good for easy access to JBR and Marina. Parking widely available as well.
The biggest positive of our stay was seeing Simon’s beaming smile and welcome back everytime. What a wonderfully friendly and lovely man.
Room was spacious, bed very comfortable and had the amenities needed.
Breakfast was average, nothing hugely great but sufficient for what we needed.
The buffet dinner was also average. Food could be really good, or a bit meh. Appreciate catering on mass is never going to be amazing though.
Poolside always incredibly busy, and just not enough seating for the number of guests.
Service from reception/restaurants/poolside always helpful, housekeeping great however the soluna beach desk lady was definitely not what you’d expect from a customer service role.
Overall, would happily stay here again.

I had a really great stay at The First Collection Marina. From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel welcome. I was upgraded to a better room, which was such a nice surprise and made my stay even more enjoyable.
The room was clean, and comfortable. The hotel is in a perfect location close to restaurants, shops,so everything was super convenient.
It’s definitely a place I’d come back to. Great service, and a very relaxing atmosphere.
