This place has exceeded my expectations!
From the moment I arrived, I had the warmest impressions from Henok. He is so welcoming and helping me the first I'm out from the taxi.
During check-in time was so easy and informative, Sulaiman provided me with a lot of information and benefits during my stay.
As I was celebrating my birthday, he arranged the suits with cake and balloons..
The room itself is amazing! I had 2 views at the same time - the marina side and the sea view!
Just a bit concern about the toiletries. Seems like if you want to have full set it's only upon request.
But they deliver it as soon as you asked which have a plus point.
The buffet has so many good options and the sport bar is a nice touch.
Overall is great! The area is walkable and many good restaurants around.

This is my second time I am staying at this hotel. In general I like the service quality, rooms are clean and it has a nice location(next to Dubai Marina). Also thanks to Ramesh for the house keeping. He did a great job, also he has good communication skills. Maybe for criticism, you should replace the coffee machines. They are too slow and there is always a big queue in front of the coffee machines during the breakfast. Also sometimes elevators are going in the wrong direction. Even if you choose the ground floor sometimes it goes back to the upper direction. This happened a couple of times. To summarize I like this hotel and the service quality in general.

Stayed here for almost 2 weeks in Dubai Marina and honestly loved it. Perfect for morning workouts and runs. Super convenient location with tons of food options and supermarkets nearby. Free parking was a huge bonus too. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at First Collection Dubai Marina recently in Janury 2026.
The hotel is located at the far end of the marina, slightly set back from the waterfront. Because it’s positioned behind other buildings, our room did not have any view of the marina itself. To reach the main marina area, it’s about a 15-minute walk.
Upon arrival, we couldn’t get our room immediately as we arrived early. Since my husband is a Platinum member, we preferred to wait for an upgraded room. While we eventually received our room, we were told the luggage would be delivered, but it never arrived, and we had to go get it ourselves.
The room itself was quite spacious, with a separate living area and bedroom. The TV can rotate 360 degrees between the living room and bedroom, which is a nice touch. The bed was comfortable (plugs next were not working though). However, while the hotel was rebranded and apparently renovated some time ago, there are still small details that feel a bit outdated, showing signs of quick touch-ups rather than a full modern finish.
The bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned… the toilet, in particular, was not very clean upon check-in.
We had placed a “Do Not Disturb” sign for the first two days, so we didn’t expect housekeeping. On the third day, we requested the room to be cleaned, but it was not done properly: there were still hairs and dust everywhere. This was the only time we asked for housekeeping and it was disappointing that it was not done correctly.
On the positive side, the bellboys were very friendly, always smiling, polite, and helpful. They assisted with doors, luggage, and even offered taxis everytime we were going out.
However, check-in was slow. There were several counters but one receptionist remained focused on his screen while colleagues were busy, and we had to wait longer than necessary. Check-out was similar: the same receptionist did not acknowledge us at all even if my husband was waiting in front of him and it was a bellboy who ended up handling our check-out. First and last contact with the hotel is important and it was disappointing that this staff member did not engage properly with guests.
As for the view, we appreciated the upgrade but it was misleading. While it was supposed to face the sea (we were hoping for a marina view), it actually overlooked an industrial area, which was noisy and not very pleasant.
The surrounding neighborhood feels a bit old and dated, with many small shops and local stores, giving it a busy, authentic, but not very modern atmosphere.
Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to use other hotel facilities as we spent most of our time outside.
Overall, while the bellboys, room size, and upgrade were positive points, the cleanliness issue, check-in/out experience, room location/view, and the slightly outdated feel of the hotel were disappointing.

Stayed here for 5 days in November and really enjoyed it.
Location is very convenient if you want to explore Dubai Marina. Just a few minutes from the Marina promenade, which is a great boulevard with lots of restaurants and cozy places to sit.
The staff truly stood out. Incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful. Every request was handled with care, which made the stay feel very relaxed.
Prices felt fair for what you get. We received an upgrade to a suite with a balcony and it was absolutely worth it.
Outdoor pool is fine. Gym is well equipped.
Didn’t use the breakfast or bar, but supermarkets are nearby, which was very practical.
All in all, a very solid stay. Would definitely come back.
