I recently spent a wonderful holiday at Wind of Lara with my family and cousins, and we couldn’t have been more impressed!
From the moment we arrived, everything was incredibly well-organized and welcoming. The hotel is spotless, clearly maintained with the highest standards of cleanliness and attention to detail. Every corner feels fresh and taken care of.
The food was delicious, with plenty of variety to satisfy every taste, from kids to adults. Each meal felt thoughtfully prepared, and we appreciated the balance between traditional Turkish dishes and international options.
A special mention goes to the staff – friendly, professional, and always going the extra mile. Whether it was reception, restaurant, cleaning or entertainment, every team member made us feel genuinely welcome.
The hotel is managed exceptionally well, and it shows. Everything runs smoothly, and the atmosphere is both relaxed and high-quality – the perfect combination for a family holiday

This wasn’t our first time staying at Wind of Lara, and it definitely won’t be our last! Every time we come back, we feel just as welcomed and relaxed as the first time. The entertainment team is absolutely fantastic – full of energy, always smiling, and making sure everyone is having a great time, from morning activities to evening shows.
The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, and the food is consistently delicious with a wide variety to choose from. Everything is well organized, and you can really tell the staff take pride in maintaining high standards.
If you’re looking for a place where you can truly unwind, have fun, and feel well taken care of, Wind of Lara is the perfect choice. Can’t wait to return!

So I really don't know what all the bad reviews are about? If you want a cheap holiday it's perfect.
Is it a 5 star? No. But it's definitely not. 3 star either.
We stayed here from the UK, after my mum was having some dental work and we wanted a better hotel, so booked this ourselves.
The hotel is immaculately clean. I have absolutely no idea what the comments about dirt and cockroaches are?!
The rooms are beautiful, very modern, and the air conditioning was ice cold, bearing in mind it was 41 degrees!
The only downside is the food. It's not awful, it's fine. Turkish night was good, they have a barbecue grill most nights and the breakfast is nice. The rest is a bit bland but it's far from awful.
A good selection of drinks, fruit juice etc.
No idea what the issue is, great hotel and would come back.

The taste of the hot food at the late-night buffet was actually quite good, but unfortunately, it was barely warm.
My room was ok cleaned, but my bathroom was not, hairs in the Toilet, water and shampoo traces everywhere are enough evidence that there was not much time spend in cleaning!
However, the service at the reception was poor. The staff member was chatting with some other guests while we had to wait. A simple “I’ll be with you shortly” would have been enough, but instead, he continued his small talk and left us waiting for several minutes. Not a big deal once, but it happened three times in a row, which made us feel unwelcome.
The overall atmosphere of the hotel felt a bit uncomfortable, especially in the dining area. High ceilings and a lack of soundproofing made it very noisy—not really a place to enjoy what was otherwise good food.
The fridge in my room wasn’t working, though the mattress was actually quite comfortable.
The tea was over-brewed—something I’ve never experienced in Turkey, where tea is usually a highlight.
There was also no sparkling water available in the dining area, which I’ve never seen in any other hotel here.
Lastly, the room doors were poorly insulated, so noise from the hallway was noticeable.
Conclusion: No major issues, but lots of small things that added up.

We booked a last-minute stay at Wind of Lara and arrived late in the evening. Rose, the Guest Relations Manager, greeted us with a warm welcome—she was so kind and professional.
We stayed for five nights and had a great experience overall. The hotel was spotless, the food was delicious, and every staff member we interacted with was courteous and friendly.
If you’re after a reasonably priced getaway along the Lara strip, this place is definitely worth considering!
