Whala! beach is one of my favorite. The rooms are quite spacious and match exactly like the photos shared online. 24hr reception makes this hotel very nice. The team is very friendly and always available for any need. It also has amenities like rooftop bar with a nice view of the ocean, swimming pool as well as leisure time activities.
Only thing I would like to comment that the crew entered our room in our absence, maybe for cleaning purpose but I would not recommend to do so in the future.

We arrived at 03:00(night time) me, my wife and my little boy(3 years old), due to a delayed flight, at the reception many drunk people, I went to ask the receptionist nicely if I can check -in faster cuz I have a little kid and it's late, she told me to wait in line. OK np.. went to the room, the room was clean but a intense bug spray smell and no blankets to cover, it was quite cold for us.. I went to the reception asking for blankets and the receptionist was rude and asked me where is the bracelet, I didn't understood what bracelet, and he told me that the bracelets are not for fashion is for security, OK, and when where you about to inform me about this? Verry bad customer service. I DO NOT RECOMAND THIS HOTEL.

Had a great 3 nights here. Room was clean and very comfortable. Only downside was our room being right next to the Air con units from the restaurant in front, so when the door was open it was audible. However, doors shut it was quiet and we both slept well.
The roof top terrace is brilliant and the drinks very fairly priced. Would definitely return.

Great place if you stay near the beach. This hotel is really nice and clean.

Not disabled friendly !!!
I know it says it has a lift and the upstairs levels are accessable by the lift but that's not true. To get to the roof bar or pools you have to get off at floor 9 and walk up the stairs to get to them. There are a few ramps dotted around but they are so steep you would need assistance to help you push it up there. The lifts broke down while we were here and one of them had an alarm going for at least 4 hours. This all caused a lot of pain for the person I was travelling with as he has a medical condition with both his knees.
The shower in the room is bigger than the lift! You can barely fit 4 people in there but even when it is full people still try and force themselves in which could cause a huge safety issue (and maybe the reason why the lift broke down)
Air con is pathetic, even when it is on full blast I could make more of an impact blowing air. I mentioned it to reception and they said they would send someone to look at it ... not sure if they did but nothing has changed. Also mentioned there is no hand soap in the bathroom which never got sorted (see attached photo) so bring some of your own.
The place feels more like a hostel than a hotel, you have to pay to get a to remote for the tv, costs daily to use the safe in your room, no kettle or anything in the room.
The lobby bar was never open while we were there and clearly hadn't been open for a long time as there were no spirits on the back bar.
Maid service was terrible. I would grab a drink from the bar at the end of the night and they never seen to get cleared by maid service so I ended up seeing how many things I could collect before the end of my stay (see attached photo) ... there was a lot.
I have stayed in 3* hotels before that are a lot better than this place in so many ways. It feels like it's just crammed into a tiny space to get in as much as possible. Not an area to come to relax, just seems like a lot of people come here to get drunk. And a lot of very noisey rowdy Germans.
Will never return to this hotel, as not what you'd expect for the price you pay or value for money
