Let's start with the positives, the location is great. The resort is extremely large and full of pretty nature.
Most of the staff is friendly (quick note, some do not speak English)
There's decent choice in food during breakfast and diner aslong as your not a picky eater.
Drinks are made quickly
Now the negatives...
Let's start with the scam, the shop next to the lobby sold us a can of chips for €8 which is ABSURD. (Searched up the brand... it costs 1.50 a can, not even looking at bulk buying)
The food is not fitting for a 5 star hotel, more like a 3/3.5 star one. (Do have to note, I am a semi picky eater and this is different per person)
Rooms are dated & there is visible mold in the shower.
Good value for money? Yeah, but not a place I'd return to after one time.
(Edit, they checked the room where my name was registered to for mold and made pictures. Good to see they take this serious however, the mold was in another room that I am not registered on)

Let’s start with the good part, the resort is very big and with good potential, the staff and personal was very positive, friendly and helpful!
The Alacar Restaurant is fantastic very good service and great food nothing similar to the main restaurant!
Close to the beach, many swimming pools( but just have an idea that non of them are heated or with warm water, even those in the spa zone, that means if outside it is not sunny the pools will be cold) .
We was in that resort 3 years ago was named by (Aquaworld Belek) and it was much better! What do I mean, from the last visit standards are really low!
The rooms in the palace are quite good, but in the other building they are very smelly and with old furniture! The rooms really need a refresher for the 5 star hotel!
The food which they offer is the same every single day, and most of the time offered cheap stuff, and is very possible to get stomachache every single night! And also u are wasting from 10-15 min to get a table, especially for dinner if u go later you may not find all of the food which is offered!
The resort have very good potential if it is in the right hands! Just need to invest in it not only to get the money and lower the standards!

Honestly, I'm not even sure where to start. We arrived after a long 13-hour journey. As we entered the reception area, it was warmer than outside. I'm not sure if the AC was working anywhere in the reception.
We got our rooms — which, by the way, were in *bungalows*. Nowhere on the website did it mention that; it clearly states it's a hotel. Fine, whatever. We walk in and are immediately hit by a horrible smell throughout the room. There was a broken vent, half ripped open, on the ceiling. The door to the balcony (if you can even call it that) looked like someone had broken in — it was very hard to close properly.
The AC barely worked and made loud, disturbing noises. The bathroom was full of mold. These rooms need some SERIOUS renovations.
Location-wise? Also terrible. If you want to go shopping, you'll need to book a taxi for a 3 km ride to the nearest mall. (80 euros for 7 people — insane, in my opinion.)
We're two families: one with 1 child and 2 adults, the other with 2 kids and 2 adults. And yet, our room was placed at the *very* end of the resort — right next to the "16+" relax pool.
We were already so annoyed, so we went to reception to complain. Not only were we screamed at by the receptionists, but the travel agency rep from Anex said (and I quote):
"I don't care about your story, just tell me the issue and your room number."
So rude and completely unprofessional.
We were shown six different rooms in the same category, and hardly any of them were better than the one we had.
Now onto the pools and beach.
The website advertises 11 different pools. I walked around the entire resort and found a shocking three.
Also, if you're not one of the first people to arrive, good luck finding a single spot to sit.
The food was very basic.
Breakfast: Eggs, pancakes, and various cheeses — that part was great.
Dinner: The layout was honestly so complicated. The food is spread out across three different areas, two of which are in entirely different buildings. The dinner food itself wasn’t terrible, but not once were we asked if we wanted something to drink. Turns out, you have to walk to the bar and ask for drinks yourself — and then get them in a paper cup or a 33ml bottle. Disaster.
Lunch: Not really lunch-type food. Mostly meat, potatoes, cheeses, and various vegetables. Vegetarian options? Nowhere to be found.
Lastly, the only good thing: the kids' animations and entertainment were actually pretty nice. There was a fun dance show and live music afterward — that was enjoyable.
But that was vaguely the *only* positive thing I could find.
All the good reviews must either be fake or so old that they no longer reflect reality.
I honestly felt more like I was camping than staying at a 5-STAR HOTEL.
Whole story short: I was very disappointed with the stay, the staff, and the food. Definitely do *not* recommend.
Asteria Family Resort?
More like DISASTERIA Family Resort.

Location is great by the sandy beach, good food but can get crowdy and air con in main restaurant stink from dump
Often long queues if u want something from grill or outside cooks
Aquapark only open 2hr in the morning and then 2 in the afternoon but still lots of kids climbing and sliding down creating danger for other pool users- lifeguards often couldnt care less to watch pools.
Rooms in main building were ok, enough storage space, big balcony with hanging lines, but bathrooms needs updating.
Also floors can be moped more frequently and bedding was changed only once per whole week stay.
Would I ever return? No thanks
