WOW. this property! Firstly I was compelled to write a review right away just from my check in experience alone, I still haven’t even checked out yet, but my experience so far has been nothing short of amazing. I was greeted by Diogo and the front desk reception Mariana and Jayson who were from the minute I walked in just so warm welcoming, electric energy and made the check in process so smooth and seamless, they were like GENUINELY friendly that is so rare these days! also they thoroughly explained all the hotel facilities, and shared suggestions on all things algarve. The welcome drink was a nice refreshing touch to a hot summer day.
Upon checking in, I got to my room and honestly all i can say is BEAUTIFUL. the cleanliness, the balcony, the views the nice little touch with the welcome card + pastel de nata were SOOO GOOD👌 This hotel has a huge facility, with a spa/gym (haven’t had a chance to use this yet) but the fountain show and wet deck bar is nice! The hotel is close to a small little beach, just a short walk away and it was nice to catch the sunset. I had dinner at Paper moon, that I definitely recommend to go check out during sunset. the ocean views are incredible. I recommend getting the Gnochetti it was really good! After dinner we walked by the Lounge and there was a DJ playing, the hotel was quite quiet for a thursday night but I can imagine when the summer rush picks up it would be good vibes.
Overall such a good experience and I totally recommend as a MUST stay when visiting in Algarve. From the Hotel, to the views, and the hotel staff that make it worth while!

Everything was clean and neat. Food at the pool medium but the Paper Moon excellent. Staff are nice and helpful (they were a bit overwhelmed). Pool area is nice. Location is great and everything was within 10 minutes drive.

This place was just amazing. I would love to live there forever!! I highly recommend this hotel. I celebrated my 50th birthday there and they treated me like a queen - the service from start to finish was exceptional. The decor is absolutely stunning and the smell as your walk into reception is divine! I highly recommend going for the bed and breakfast option - the breakfast is out of this world - the only hotel I’ve ever been to that has free flowing bubbles - I could quite get used to a mimosa every morning! A particular thank you to the reception team and John and Teddy in the Market Kitchen. I will be back one day - Leanne

This is a great hotel. I’ve stayed in many worse 5 stars. Presume it would be 5 star with more restaurants choice maybe. Service is really friendly and generally great, food excellent (especially breakfast), pools and rooms lovely. Delicious well made cocktails with top quality ingredients. Focus on quality is clear at the W. Also excellent sunbathing spots and a pretty, small beach a few minutes walk with a nice bar / restaurant. Also very baby friendly - this was our first holiday with our 3 month old son and the hotel is perfectly suited to that as well.
Only reason I might have knocked a star off is that we booked through Amex travel fine hotels and didn’t get an upgrade, which is highly unusual. It also didn’t seem full. But the room we booked was perfectly nice so I’m not sure what an upgrade would have given us, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. Also the location is quite niche - has some half decent local restaurants nearby ish, but nothing in the way of shops / lively bars etc closer than 20 mins or so. Didn’t bother us at all, but if you like being in the thick of the action, this hotel would not be for you. The hotel is also quite dead at night.
All in all a really nice stay for our first family holiday, leaving very happy and would definitely come back.

Amazing hotel. We extended our stay (regardless of price) because of how good everything was. Every single member of staff I interacted with was friendly, helpful and warm.
Great location, meticulously clean and comfortable. The spa offers a range of treatments and massages and smells divine.
