We enjoyed our stay all this wonderful week! Room was spacious and comfortable for our family of four, the outdoor and indoor pools were clean and beautiful, and all the spa area! I enjoyed some moments of relaxing and well treated at the spa.. Children enjoyed the playground area and the night shows! The staff was very friendly and helpful, too. It’ s located at a nice beach, a bit isolated from the crowded towns of Mallorca, so you enjoy peaceful vacation !

Amazing place, amazing people, amazing location! Kids animations made by Helena and the team were just top class, entertaining the kids along with the parents. A very warm thank you as well to Rachel and Jakob from the front desk reception who made us feel warmly welcome since we’ve entered the premises. Without forgetting the waiters teams and Toni extremely attentive to every one of our needs! Viva staff made our stay truly enjoyable and worth every penny. Thank you ❤️

We stayed in the room with a kitchenette and we cooked. Summary of good and bad for us.
Kitchen
Too small if you’re planning to do more than reheat things in a microwave, no dish rack, hob takes 10min to boil water in pot, no space in cupboards to store anything, no bowls, only small cups, no scissors, no colander.
Good: filter coffee maker, microwave, kettle, toaster, pots, frying pan
Bathroom: nice and big, two sinks, great shower, storage, no complaints whatsoever.
Bedroom: socket only on one side of bed, otherwise comfortable.
Overall: building was very noisy (from other guests, mainly kids), not much noise cancellation between rooms. Unfortunately the adult-only hotel nearby was closed. There are quite a few buildings so maybe they could have a dedicated kids-free building or part of the building. It was great
to have bracelet to open room door instead of carrying a card or key.
Spa facilities were disappointing. Swimming pool required key which we had to get from reception (on another floor), and it occasionally got lost. It would be ideal to be able to open it with a bracelet.
Very small saunas (2 people max) which also required booking and keys. The biggest problem was that there were no changing rooms next to indoor pool or saunas.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Food in a restaurant was plentiful and good value for money but nothing to shout about.
Amazing location if you want to be away from city, plenty of hiking opportunities around.
Beware there is no parking directly near the hotel, you have to walk. You can park outside the reception to unload but then it can still be quite far to your room in another building.
Parking in the village around hotel was quite limited (we were there in March, can’t imagine high season).

We recently stayed in Cala Mesquida and I was blown away by not only the great location, the stunning beach or the surprisingly well stocked gym, but mainly by the staff.
Every single staff member in Cala Mesquida greeted all guests with a smile and could not have done more to help or make people feel welcome.
Standing out amongst these, were the 'Animation Team' who are responsible for entertaining the kids at the resort. Cindy, Susannah, Anatoly, Clara, Joao and all the other team members were amazing. They were so enthusiastic and really helped every child there to enjoy themselves. Our youngest was a little bit afraid (I say a little bit, he was very scared at first!) of Bufo and Katty, the resort Mascots, but each team member realised this and made sure, every time, that he was okay and that he knew he was okay.
They did this for every child there, knew all their names, spoke to them in their own language and made them smile.
We will definitely be back to the resort, and I hope the hotel management know, that families will return not only for the location and amenities, but primarily, for these people. They are worth their weight in Gold, and do an incredible job.

Very nice resort, caring, competent, and friendly staff, great facilities (gym, spa, jacuzzi, pools), brilliant location ...
Drawbacks: The place was full of children. This makes me sound like a grump or a Scrooge - and perhaps I am. Nonetheless, the entire resort, with its kiddie one-armed bandit areas, bouncy castles, pirate-themed play and swim areas, discos, was ar kindergarten of noise, ranging from laughter to bawling. And one tires of this, whether or not one is a parent. Some fathers in the sports bar looked positively "shell-shocked".
How to fix? Well, there's an outdoor jacuzzi area that is 18+; how about entire buildings also being 18+? I realise there's an 18+ VIVA resort 300 m along the road, and we could certainly have booked there ... but the views to the sea and beach from our child-noise plagued rooms are unbeatable. And unavailable from 300 m along the road.
