My boyfriend and I arrived to the room and it was cold, no heat (as our trip was in November), there was an odd smell to the room and did not appear well kept. This was probably because not many people travel here during the winter so I am assuming they do not do as much maintenance. Not much surrounding the facility at all and front desk woman was locking up and going home as soon as we got there, so no staff around either. Due to this, we wanted to find a new place to stay given this was our vacation and wanted to enjoy and be comfortable in the place we are staying. In attempts to reach out to the manager, impossible to contact, refusing to give us any sort of refund through booking for this occasion meanwhile due to it being the “low” travel season, other rooms were available to book. Eventually had to leave 2 hours after arriving because we could not stay in this room for a week, went somewhere else and still not able to contact the manager weeks later on multiple attempts. Extremely disappointed with the service and will most definitely not be coming back nor do I recommend to anyone else.

Really nice place for a couple for a getaway. Great pool, close to beach, kitchen in apartment and air conditioning is fantastic.
Choice of 2 amazing beaches near by. Few decent restaurants within walking distance and the bar allegre on site does really good sandwiches/coffee.
Staff are friendly and check in/out was hassle free.
Rooms only offering twin beds wasn't ideal for us as a couple because the beds would separate during the night leaving a void in the middle but apart from that the apartment was really good. Filter coffee machine and induction hob was the perfect way to start the day with breakfast.

Good: 1) The apartment has good location (1h driving from Palma Airport) with a lot of parking space. 2) The room is spacious. 3) The swimming pool is super! 4) The reception desk staff is very good, and a new cafe and bar was just opened with breakfast offerings. 5) A welcome pack with kitchen cleaning stuff is provided.
Bad: 1) The room cleaning schedule is not clear, so we didn't know the exact time of when towels will be changed, which can be a bit confusing. 2) The desk and chairs in the terrace is not clean.

Vista Alegre Review
In my experience, people only leave reviews for two reasons: either they had a remarkably poor experience, or a remarkably positive one. On our first day staying with Vista Alegre, we already knew that we would review. By our last day, we loved it so much we almost couldn’t leave!
Right off the bat, Miguel (the very kind and patient manager of the property) received us as if welcoming us into his own home. We felt like we were truly guests that they were happy to have, old friends even. We talked about Mallorca, laughed together as my wife and I tried to speak a semi-understandable version of Spanish and he provided a very thorough overview of the island which gave us so much to do during our stay.
Shortly afterwards we met Manuel (el Rey de la cocina), Hassina and Carolina. We have never felt more comfortable with the staff around us and to be honest, it felt like we were meeting old friends every time we saw them. El Rey (Manuel) is an artist of both food and specialty coffee. With him at the helm, they have opened a new restaurant on the property just this year and I kid you not, it was the best food in the area. Do not skip breakfast (their “toasts” will blow your mind), spend some time with them, make a friend, enjoy a specialty coffee, you will not be disappointed. Hassina and Carolina only furthered this. They were so kind and helpful and always brought a smile!
The property itself was immaculate. A beautiful Mediterranean feel, white buildings, red tiles and it all felt so well cared for. You can tell how much they love the space and you really did feel right at home. The pool was perfect. Great temperature, lots of seating and there were always people hanging out which really felt fun! The pool was cleaned every morning and there was even a lifeguard on duty which was awesome for the kids.
The room itself was equally clean and very spacious. All the normal room amenities included, as well as a fully stocked kitchen with plates, utensils and cookware if you’d like to cook in the apartment. Lastly a huge bonus was that they not only have washing machines on the property (for just a few euros per load, they even automatically dispense soap for you so you don’t need to bring any) but they also have dryers as well! Not the most common thing to find in Europe when traveling and definitely a nice surprise.
The hotel itself is less than a block from two different beaches, both beautiful with cobblestone paths that lead you down to them. (If you like cats, bring a little food for the strays, there are quite a few down by the beach!)
We left 5 days later and honestly considered modifying the rest of our trip to stay with them longer. It felt like there was so much more to do and we could not have been more comfortable at Vista Alegre.
If you are still reading this, nothing in this review is exaggerated and I cannot express strongly enough how much we enjoyed this space and the people there who made it feel like home. 10/10 would recommend, 100/100. 1000/1000.
We will be back. Thank you all for everything!

Lovely place for family and couples. Very neat and clean with good layout and swimming pool in the middle. It is in close proximity to two beautiful beaches and there are grocery stores at about 10 min walk distance. Not much options of restaurants and it is better to rent a car to go about the island. The host provides a good suggestion of places to visit.
