We have just finished our holiday here and had an absolutely fantastic time. All the staff were lovely and helpful and the room was spotless. We got the jacuzzi room which was incredible and the sea view is to die for. We had breakfast included and we were amazed at the selection as I haven't seen another hotel with so much choice and everything was so tasty. The rooftop bar had the best views watching the sunset and the drinks were very tasty especially the melon mojito! The location is really good, there are multiple bars and restaurants on the same street and it is a short walk into the old town and there is a small market a few minutes down let alone being opposite the beach and it is quite a quiet area which was really nice. Overall the time we had was amazing and I would definitely stay again. Thank you so much!

A wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with lots of hot water and spotlessly clean. All the staff are very happy and friendly. The food served was of a very high standard and we enjoyed every meal. The communal areas were all quiet and relaxed with good facilities, the rooftop bar was our favourite place to chill out with a drink. I would definitely book again!

Currently on our last evening from spending Friday to Tuesday here with my partner. Upon arrival the receptionist was friendly and full of information. Our room which was 107 had the window right next to the children’s pool and you can hear noises from the reception area and the bar in which the singer is currently. Food choices were varied but not all to our taste but that’s a personal preference. However the pasta and tomato sauce was great haha. Staff were majority happy and friendly besides one lady who served in the restaurant bar in the afternoon/evening who didn’t seem to want to be there. We would have got her name but she wasn’t wearing a name badge. Carol who worked up on the rooftop bar was by far the most friendly member of staff we came across, she made the effort to speak to us and other guests and looked interested in the conversation, she is honestly a massive credit to your hotel as her customer service is excellent!! Cleaning staff are on top of their game too, the hotel smells clean and is always looking fresh and tidy! The pool however is small for the size of the hotel and lack of sun beds were an issue. Especially when people would leave their towels and go away for at least an hour, even with signs stating not to leave and reserve beds. Location of the hotel is good, it’s about a 20 minute walk to the new town if that’s the vibe you want but the old town is close by with plenty of bars and food places to visit and loads of varied shops close by. If you’re looking at staying in this area I highly recommend Paneils as their food is amazing but book in advance 😊 Overall we were happy with our stay here with a few minor issues but nothing that wouldn’t stop us coming back.

Fabulous hotel, brilliant location right on the beach and just outside of the old town, which means its pretty quite at night, but is a bit of a walk if you are heading to the other side of the old town and along the beach front with many great bars and restaurants or heading to the infamous main strip!! Taxis from the main strip at the taxi rank cost between €7.50 - €9 back to the hotel depending on amount of passengers. If lucky enough you have a beautiful sea view (lucky ones, like us get a free upgrade) rooms are beautifully clean and fresh, mini bar/fridge, safe (which you do have to pay for which is not a large amount) plenty of cupboard space. Not many plug sockets if you have a few phones and gadgets that need charging daily though. 2 pools, one for the younger children and a slightly larger pool on the 2nd floor. Pool is small and has about 16 sunbeds but is a nice spot and gets incredibly hot during the midday sun. We spent every day on the beach and headed to the pool at the end of the day for a few cheeky cocktails and cooling off in the pool. FYI, sunbeds on the beach are €6 each, umbrellas €6 each, the beach is pretty safe and we had no problems going off and leaving bags with our beds and into the sea!! ....Anyway back to the hotel... Pool bar for drinks and crisps no other snacks. Food in the restaurant is very good and decent quality, lunch and dinner changes daily with a good selection for everyone. Have allergy charts and staff are more than happy to arrange food for specific diets. Staff are amazing and so friendly and polite and will go beyond to help. Have to say a massive thanks to Ety who was brilliant and made our stay so pleasant. He was always happy to help and findout which food was ok for me (yes im one of those with a nut allergy) he was so friendly and polite. I would highly recommend this hotel for couples or families as its ideally located for many bars and restaurants and opposite the beach.

We got back about a week ago from our holiday in Benidorm and we had all inclusive at Villa del Mar. Overall the holiday was amazing, but not due to Villa del Mar but because Benidorm is such a beautiful city to see. I am more than happy to share here my opinion. First of all the rooms were big, clean and cleaned daily if you wanted to. But I can't say I was impressed, as I wasn't. You'll get a safe in your room but will have to pay for it 3€/ night. Why? If is in the room, which is already paid for, let me use it or you can keep it on your cupboard and that's it - everyone is happy. This hotel was originally just a hotel but then they expanded it. The pool is on 2nd floor but is small no much sun as is in the back of the hotel and also you have to pay a 1€ deposit for a plastic cup. I have been to many places but never to pay for a cup. The location is excellent as it is opposite beach and close within 10 minutes walk to town. We only had dinner once at the hotel as always the grilled pork was not cooked. They don't offer a high variety of foods, quite limited. And not to forget the fact that those windows frame are not stable at all. If you lean on them to enjoy the view you can't trust it much. The good thing was that on your bracelet it was your room key too, which I think is a brilliant idea. Well done for this. The personnel was helpful. If I will get another chance to come back there, I will definitely say pass.
