Loved our stay here but the accommodation is quite out in the sticks. Local shopping centre, bars, restaurants are about a mile taxi ride away.
Hotel does have a cafe/bar & restaurant but we found the prices quite high.

I’m sorry to say that my stay here was nothing but a disappointment. We were a party of four.. when we arrived, there were only two
Towels in our unit, after an eight hour flight we obviously all wanted to shower. They had a problem with giving us more towels. I was told that they only change the bedding and towels every three days which to me was not acceptable. We ended up going to a near retailer, and purchasing linens and washcloths, the staff was very rude whatever you needed you can rest assure you wouldn’t able to get . The lighting in the bathroom was next to zero. When showering at night, I had to use the flashlight on my iPhone. The grounds were very pretty and well-kept. Whoever took the first shower would get hot water after that it would be cold. My daughter and her boyfriend had booked a t time which they paid for and we never told that there was a big golf conference going on that day so after all the preparation, they were only able to do three holes and had to come back because of the tournament. However, they were Refunded, I would not recommend this place especially if it’s your first time in Portugal, you will be disappointed .

Beautiful scenic place to stay, but remember you do need to hire a car to get around. Apartment was amazing hope to come back in summer. If you love golf it’s the place to be. Weather was lovely.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom house for a week in December at Vilar do Golf. Comfortable and clean accommodation. One large living area downstairs and two bedrooms (one ensuite) and bathroom upstairs. Kitchen contained cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and dish washer. Welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, dried milk sachets provided, as were dish washer and washing machine tablets.
Family enjoyed using the indoor pool. Outdoor not heated and too cold!!
We had lovely weather to explore the nearby beaches and area. Evenings cool. Need a car to get around.
Onsite supermarket is expensive. Aldi supermarket nearby at Almancil and a Lidl and Continente on road to Quarteira.
Follow directions given by resort when going there from airport. Satnavs can take you on a much more rural route!
