Reasonable price and good for the price. Close enough to town to enjoy it and far enough away to not be disturbed by it. Good breakfast for a hotel that size. The outdoor pool was a bit disappointing, but wasn't really there for that and the indoor pool advertised was actually at another hotel and you had to pay to use it by the hour... bit cheeky really!
Staff were excellent though and is where the venue shines.

We loved our stay. The room was spacious, peaceful and clean. The food was great - we had a half board and the breakfast buffet had an okay amount of options (would be good to have more fish and vegetarian options that aren’t cereal, pastries and fruit) and the dinner was a 3 course meal.
Very filling and it would be even better if you could cater to a halal diet as we could only have vegetarian or fish. Would have loved to try the chicken or duck that were options too if it was halal.
Didn’t use the pool, it’s quite small but good for kids. It’s a quiet location and neighbourhood for a proper relax.
We would love to come back again! Staff very friendly and well located right next to the biggest spa in Portugal 🇵🇹

Pros:
Decent breakfast
Nice and quiet hotel
Nice pool area
Beds availability at pool
Ideal place to chill out
Decent gym for a work out
Friendly staff
Nice size family rooms
Nice food
*However*
Cons:
Check in took too long (35-40 mins, don't think it was the receptionist's issue, maybe ask for passports in advance)
Complained twice about the noise, we were told they look to move rooms but never heard back
The noise was incredible from 7am on. Unfortunately, our room was above the dining room and from 7am on all you can hear is chairs being pulled and dragged across a floor. Surely, there is some simple solution to this.
The tiles on the pool need a deep clean. Clothing and body got discoloured from the lack of cleaning. We suggested it, told they've something to put in the pool. It's not the pool, it's the tiles. Empty the pool and scrub the tiles. Basic solution.
This hotel is a good hotel but it could be a great hotel.

I would like to start off by saying we booked this about a year ago after going to Portugal a few times. We decided to come to this hotel and try this area out rather than the regular place that is about 20 minutes away.
When we arrived it all seemed good. Friendly staff, clean rooms etc.
BUT at around 1:30am a bunch of people, around 15 came back partying and being really loud in their rooms. This woke is all up.
In the morning they were all in the reception area playing loud music of a speaker.
People have complained to reception and were told multiple complaints have come through.
On the second night we were all woken up, yet again. But at 4am this time.
Ok the third night we were woken again! At 5am.
Spoken to reception and they don’t seem bothered
DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL! They offer plans for big groups of people to golf etc. They come back and shout and party at 4am and the staff don’t care

Fantastic boutique hotel. Staff very friendly. Upgraded to a suite for this visit. Breakfast is a good selection and they are more than happy to prepare eggs fresh on request. But the star of the show is deffo evening meal (we book half board). The food is outstanding. The pool is 'L' shaped and not very deep, with a splash pool for little ones. Plenty of sunbeds, shaded areas appear as the sun moves across but parasols if you prefer. Pool towels are available next to Reception. The gym is well equipped, cold water is available as well as towels.
You have access to the Hilton spa, shuttle to beach and marina, which runs frequently throughout the day and also the games room.
We have been twice this year already April and May. We are booked to return in August and September. What more can I say.... We love it! Highly recommend. We travelled as a couple but it works well for families too.
It is a tad of a walk to the beach/marina (30 mins) but the shuttle is available if you prefer not to walk. The closest supermarket is Spar which is approx 5 - 7 mins walk. There are plenty of bars/ cafes close for a beer or food.
