A wonderful stay for three nights at Vila Galé Collection Praia. The rooms are big and clean, the restaurant is excellent (the half board package is great value, especially as there aren't too many restaurants within walking distance), and the staff are what makes the stay truly special. There is a big focus on health and wellness at this hotel, and you will find an excellent gym, yoga room, sauna, spa and pool located on-site. Praia do Galé is also away from the main centre of Albufeira, so you can relax in peace while only being a couple of minutes walk to the beach.

We spent two nights here and had a nice stay. The hotel is small, but our room was spacious and clean, and it was very quiet. The pool is very nice, although it was fairly cold this time of year. The staff in the reception were polite, although the woman working there when I checked out was much friendlier than the one who welcomed us upon arrival. The breakfast is small (and the restaurant dark) but decent. I found the mattress in our room a bit uncomfortable as it was quite hard, and the laundry detergent used for the pillowcases and sheets also had a strong smell (not bad, just strong). It was also very dark in the hallway, as there weren’t any lights on unless you turned them on. The hotel is located very close to the beach and several restaurants, although it’s a bit outside of Albufeira itself. All in all, it was a good place to stay and I don't have any major complaints, although I'm not sure I found it exceptional.

Fantastic location be the beach in Algarve. Small 40 room hotel for adults only. Rooms kept very clean and fresh breakfast including omelets. Parking is on busy public streets, which is a challenge in daylight due to beach goers.

The hotel was spotlessly clean.The staff were fantastic as was the location.A quiet oasis of peace and tranquility.The buffet breakfast was delicious with such a variety of food.The outdoor pool was an ideal size to do lengths or just relax in.We used the gym , ran daily along the beach and had a couple of fabulous massages .I couldn’t recommend this adult only hotel highly enough. We will definitely be returning and wish we were still there .
