Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel itself is well-maintained and clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
The food initially impressed us with its variety and quality, but unfortunately, it became repetitive after the first few days of our stay. This was a bit disappointing, as we were hoping for more diverse options throughout the week.
One thing to note is the drink rule of two drinks per customer, which can be a bit inconvenient, especially for families or groups. Be prepared to either go up to the bar together or rejoin the queue multiple times to complete your order.
On the bright side, the entertainment provided for children was fantastic. The entertainers put a lot of effort into engaging the kids and keeping them entertained throughout the day. However, the adult entertainment seemed to cater exclusively to French guests. Despite the majority of guests being English-speaking, the shows were predominantly in French, which left many of us feeling a bit excluded.
Overall, while there were some minor drawbacks, such as the repetitive food and language-focused entertainment, the friendly staff and clean facilities made for an ok stay.
Positive: We are going to come back to Portugal as it's a beautiful place.
Negative: Sadly we would not book at this hotel again.

This hotel is truly stunning, offering a plethora of amenities, though lacking a kettle and iron in the rooms. Its expansive layout spans multiple floors, each filled with diverse facilities. Entertainment options abound for children, including a charming theatre serving candy floss and popcorn. The cocktail selection is unparalleled, catering to various tastes. Despite its remote village location, the hotel compensates with ample offerings for a short getaway or a long stay. The rooms boast generous space, featuring both a shower and bath in the bathrooms, along with ample storage and a convenient mini fridge. While the pools may be too chilly for comfort during this season, the sea offers a warmer alternative. The staff are courteous and accommodating, and the cuisine is delectable. With plenty of kids' clubs and serene evening strolls, this hotel comes highly recommended for a relaxing retreat.

Ukino Palmeiras Village Hotel: A Relaxing Option with Room for Improvement
Overall: The Ukino Palmeiras Village offers a relaxed atmosphere with spacious rooms, friendly bar staff, and a good variety of food at the buffet. It seems particularly suited for families with young children. However, there are some areas where the hotel could improve its service and amenities to reach a truly 4-star standard.
Highlights:
Friendly and helpful bar staff
Reasonably clean and spacious rooms with a variety of bathroom amenities
Good selection of food at the buffet
Areas for Improvement:
Limited English Service: While the staff were friendly, some announcements and entertainment seemed prioritized for other languages.
Beverages: The reviewer found the coffee disappointing and cocktails watered down. While beer and wine were satisfactory, a wider range of beverage options, particularly hot drinks, would be appreciated.
Room Amenities: The lack of irons, in-room tea service, and limited housekeeping could be improved.
Guest Information: Guests might benefit from clearer information about towel rentals, safe usage fees, and local transportation options.
Entertainment: The reviewer found the nightly entertainment a bit repetitive and the volume too loud.
Bar Cleanliness: More frequent cleaning of tables and chairs would be appreciated.
Additional Notes:
The reviewer found the pool slides to be operational only occasionally.
The reviewer suggests downloading ride-sharing apps like Bolt or Uber instead of using the hotel's taxi service.
In Conclusion:
The Ukino Palmeiras Village offers a relaxed atmosphere for families, but some aspects could be improved to enhance the overall guest experience.

The animation team are brilliant! Really good at getting everyone involved whether that’s children or adults! The languages they speak are excellent and can easily communicate no matter what language you speak! The hotel is also amazing! Very large with different bars and amazing swimming pools! A little cold to swim when we came but would honestly come back in the future! Rooms were spotless and cleaned daily! There was different food each night which we liked! Around a 15 minute drive to albufeira, Highly recommend!

The only issues I have with the hotel is that the food is repetitive and the location is too far away from old town. Saying that I really enjoyed my stay there and the kids pool was great for my two toddlers. For a relaxing week on holidays I would definitely return
