We booked this hotel for its location. Having stayed previously at either end of Playa Blanca, we wanted to be close to a beach and more central. The room had everything required, but was a little dated; the bed had mattress toppers over the mattress and wasn't hugely comfortable; there was plenty of hot water; the room was clean and spacious; the food was a bit hit and miss. Breakfast was plentiful and with great choice; dinner was sometimes ok, but food was always lukewarm and the fish/meat quite dry. The ingredients are all there, the cooking and presentation was not always great. Choice of house wines/soft drinks available - serve yourself in the restaurant and drinks always available throughout the day in various locations.
However, the view from the terrace was perfect/stunning and the location super - this made our holiday. 😀😀 The housekeeping was great and the staff very friendly. The spa is again a little dated, but we enjoyed a massage from a very capable, friendly lady.
Two ringed hob, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, crockery and cutlery, beach towels, shower gel, soap, washing uo liquid and tea towel provided. There is no shaver socket in the bathroom, but there are two electric sockets. Plenty of storage and an iron/ironing board provided. Supermarkets close by for water, milk and essentials.
There seemed to be plenty going on for children and a separate layout for food in the restaurant.
Would we book here again - yes if we could guarantee a room in the same area. 😍

We had a very positive experience staying at this hotel. The food was excellent, varied, and delicious. All staff members were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The children’s animations were fantastic and my daughter absolutely loved them. We spent December 25th and 26th in a wonderful festive atmosphere. The Christmas dinner on December 25th was absolutely amazing – there was a huge variety of food, including an Italian table, a large selection of fresh fruits, as well as different types of meat and a wide range of side dishes. Everything was beautifully prepared and tasted great.
In addition, there were Christmas animations, Santa Claus, elf performances, and dance and acrobatic shows, which created a truly special holiday atmosphere.
The hotel has a perfect location – very close to the beach, with many restaurants nearby and a beautiful promenade, perfect for relaxing walks.
I highly recommend this hotel – 10 out of 10 ⭐️

We've stayed here 2 years in a row for winter sun. This hotel represents excellent value for what it offers - the location, right on Flamingo beach, cannot be beaten. With small kids, it is very easy to pop up to the room to use the bathroom etc. The apartments are basic but have everything one would need to prepare a light breakfast or lunch (with a shop within a stones throw distance selling fresh bread and pastries in the morning from 9am). Air con worked perfectly. Lovely balconies or terraces looking out on to the sea and Fuerteventura with palm trees adding to the chill factor for those with young kids who take an in-room siesta during the day. There are ample pools, something for every age group (including a quieter pool for those traveling without children). Night entertainment was perfect level for our 2.5 year old (on first visit) and 3.5 year old (on second visit). Kids club, tho we only used it once, was excellent with highly trained staff. Baby room was excellent when our child was under 3. Lovely strip of restaurants on the doorstep and a short walk to town or to another strip of restaurants beyond the Hipotel. Cannot comment on food as we went self catering on both occasions. For the price we paid, we cannot fault it. Only cons are, this is a very family oriented hotel, I'm not sure how couples without kids would find the experience. Cleaning ran very late, sometimes until early afternoon (3pm), this didn't suit us as we always brought our toddler home for the heat of the day and, having been gone all morning, there was ample time for the room to be cleaned. That being said, it's a busy resort so they're doing the best they can.

It has a lot of potential, but unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel.
During our stay, I never felt so much like a transaction or a replaceable guest. From check-in onward, the lack of flexibility and the constant “rushing mode” of the staff created an unsettled atmosphere that made it very hard to relax. This approach to guests is something we have never experienced in any other hotel.
The worst part was the room allocation. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room directly next to the children’s playground and behind the restaurant, which was very noisy and unsuitable for rest. We requested a room change immediately (we didn’t even enter the room), but were told it was not possible that evening, despite the hotel having over 200 rooms. The following day, we were only allowed to change rooms upon paying an additional €100, even though we requested a room of the same category, not an upgrade. This charge was not mentioned anywhere in advance and was later described as a “cleaning fee,” even though it could have been avoided if we had been moved right away.
Cleanliness was another disappointment. Cleaning felt superficial and inconsistent, with no clear schedule. Basic items such as soap or toilet paper were often not checked or replenished, and we had to contact reception for essentials. Overall, organization and attention to detail were lacking.
Meal times were also stressful. Although breakfast and dinner had official end times, the buffet was regularly rushed to close around 15 minutes earlier, with cleaning starting while guests were still eating. This happened every day, including during the Christmas dinner, despite the organization of two shifts, creating a rushed and unwelcoming atmosphere.
On the positive side, the hotel offers many activities for families and sports, which is appreciated, the food was varied and generally good, and the beachfront location is a big plus.
Overall, this stay did not meet our expectations, and we would not return. With this approach to guest care and service, we feel the hotel does not live up to its rating. We wish the team all the best for the future.

We had a great holiday here. The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained. There were areas which could do with an update but it was a pleasant stay and the rooms were great. Location is great, right next to Playa Flamingo which is a brilliant sandy beach which is enclosed so there are very small waves and no current. Ideal for younger kids as families. Food was as expected - th pizza was the best bit as it was made fresh and was actually pretty good. The salads were good and there was a great selection. Pools were great, entertainment for kids was amazing. The kids entertainers were all incredible and always bought energy to each event.
Overall we had a great stay and will come back again. We had our reservations beforehand but think it was one of the best holidays we have had with our son.
I will say we went out of peak season so the hotel was less than half full which might have changed our experience compared to others :)
