It’s a great location and very clean and comfortable hotel. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated.
They have a beautiful atrium on the first floor to enjoy a relaxing drink or coffee. The rooftop is a big bonus. It has great views of the entire city. We had drinks there every night at sunset before going to dinner. We had some snacks too sometimes. The food is delicious too. I would definitely stay here again if I come to Malta.

I am very satisfied with the choice of staying at the Embassy Hotel Valletta, and I truly believe it is one of the best hotels in the city.
The location is excellent, right in the heart of Valletta, and the rooftop terrace offers a wonderful view that really adds to the experience. Most importantly, the service is outstanding. The reception team deserves special thanks – they always greeted us warmly, remembered us by face, and were genuinely helpful with every request. Their professionalism made our vacation especially pleasant.
The rooms are well-designed, comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. There is enough space to store clothes, and I personally liked the overall style and layout.
There are a couple of small drawbacks to keep in mind. The sound insulation is not perfect, and since our windows faced the lively street with bars, it could be noisy until around 11:30 PM. It didn’t bother me much, but guests who go to bed early may find it challenging. Another point is that the rooftop deck has limited sunbeds and especially umbrellas, so you need to arrive around 10:30 AM to secure one. Adding more umbrellas or shaded spots on the rooftop would make it even more comfortable.
Despite these minor issues, the stay exceeded expectations. I would definitely choose this hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Valletta. A big thank you once more to the reception team for providing such a high level of service!

The service at reception and during breakfast was fantastic, and the rooms were spacious, modern, and perfectly suited to a couple or even a family of three. The pool was also a real highlight, with an outstanding view of Valletta.
The only drawback was that the pool is situated directly next to the bar, which may not make it ideal for children, and the central location, while excellent for exploring the city, does mean that the lively atmosphere on Strait Street can continue until around 1–2am. This could be disruptive if trying to get sleep.
That said, this is part of the charm of staying in such a vibrant capital, and the overall quality of the hotel was faultless.

Lovely stay- the rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing despite being in the middle of a busy city.
The rooftop was a highlight for us. In Valletta in can be hard to find hotels with a pool, so having the space to relax and cool down was perfect.
While the subbed area by the pool was slightly limited, there’s also a roof deck with extra loungers and comfy sofas. It was much quieter up there and had a nice breeze, though to access the pool you have to walk through the restaurant.
The location was ideal- right in the centre of Valletta, surrounded by lovely restaurants and close to buses and taxis to explore the island more. The hotel is located on a lively party street with music, which can be noisy outside, but you’d never know from the rooms.
The staff were brilliant throughout our stay- everyone from reception to rooftop to housekeeping was friendly and helpful. Sometimes housekeeping didn’t replenish the tea bags or coffee pods, and once took our robes without replacing them. But a quick call to reception and it was sorted within minutes.
The rooftop pool closes at 7pm, but they offer a midnight swim between 12-1am. We absolutely loved swimming at night and even saw fireworks from the pool, which was really special.
Breakfast wasn’t included in our stay, but we did receive a complimentary breakfast one morning. The selection wasn’t huge, but had everything you’d typically want for breakfast.
I’d definitely recommend this hotel in Valletta.

Very nice hotel, clean, stylish & the staff were professional on our arrival and throughout. Situated in the heart of the city with brilliant views from the roof top overlooking the city. Pool is small but was enough to keep cool. Another great touch was another level above the pool just for bathing, you do have to walk through the restaurant to get access. The restaurant was inviting even better at night when it’s all lit and glowing! however at night can get very noisy from surrounding bars and restaurants till late. During the day it’s relaxing. Easy access to shops.
