Everything was excellent! The hotel has a perfect location, and the view is simply stunning. Special praise to the staff – incredibly friendly and professional. The service was top-notch, and we truly felt welcome. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy the same experience next time!
I absolutely have to write a separate review for Aleksandar, your Guest Experience Manager, because he truly deserves every bit of praise! From the moment we arrived, Aleksandar was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive to all our needs. He took the time to personally show us the rooms, explain all the amenities, and make us feel immediately welcome and comfortable.
The rooms themselves were immaculate and exceptionally comfortable – everything was simply perfect, even beyond our expectations. Unfortunately, we already had a booking at another hotel, so a refund wasn’t possible, but that didn’t diminish the amazing experience we had with your team. Despite this, we are already planning our return to Malta and will gladly stay at your hotel again.
Aleksandar is truly someone who makes a difference – his enthusiasm, helpfulness, and professionalism left a lasting, overwhelmingly positive impression on us. I had to write a separate review for him because one simply isn’t enough to express our gratitude!
Kudos to the entire team, but special thanks to Aleksandar for making our stay so memorable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for warm, professional, and genuinely caring service – here you feel at home, but with the style and comfort you deserve.

I would not recommend The Embassy Valletta Hotel due to the lack of empathy and poor customer service I experienced.
I accidentally entered an incorrect email address when making the reservation on their website. Because of this mistake, I never received any confirmation or booking details and was completely unaware that the reservation existed. The hotel actually contacted me first, which is how I discovered the booking.
As soon as I became aware of the situation, I explained the mistake and asked if they could help resolve it by not charging the entire booking. I acknowledge that the incorrect email was my error. However I was disappointed by the complete lack of flexibility and empathy in how the situation was handled.
Rather than trying to find a reasonable solution (for example charging one night or showing some goodwill for an honest mistake), the hotel insisted on enforcing a strict cancellation fee. The communication felt very rigid and transactional, which is disappointing from a hotel where customer experience should matter the most.
I could have cancelled my other hotel reservation and stayed with them, but the way this situation was handled completely ruined the experience before it even began. As a result, I chose not to stay at the hotel at all.
Mistakes happen, but how a hotel responds to them says a lot about their customer service culture. Unfortunately, in my case there was very little understanding or willingness to help resolve the situation

Almost everything you could want from a hotel in Valletta. Rooms were spotless, staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very good choice of food and drinks at breakfast on the rooftop restaurant and the freely available cold water was very welcome. There were only two slight negatives (one out of the hotel control but relevant). Firstly, and it seems to be a common feature of restaurants in Valletta, is the limited choice for vegetarians on the menu at the rooftop restaurant. I appreciate that’s a life choice but perhaps an area for improvement? Secondly the location. We were in room 306, at the front of the hotel. The street gets very noisy at night, so not good if you want to sleep before midnight (except Sunday). Even after the bars and restaurants have stopped their boom, boom music there are people (often drunk) talking loudly as they make their way home or to hotels etc and restaurant staff dragging tables back inside. Then in the morning the cafeteria opposite is setting up tables as early as 7am.
We did ask, before we arrived, for a room at the back of the hotel but were told this wasn’t possible (obviously our travel agent, Thomas Cook, paid the least possible for rooms)

We had a wonderful stay at The Embassy Hotel in Valletta. It is perfectly located as a base for exploring Valletta as a city and Malta as a whole. The rooms are lovely and have everything you could need. Everyone of the staff were very friendly and easy to contact if we needed anything. The restaurant on the roof was such a experience (though make sure to book in advance as it is very popular). I would highly recommend.

I stopped in for a few rooftop drinks during sunset. The host was so pleasant. The staff where great. Service time was very quick. Would recommend booking in advance, it is very busy. The booking system is straight forward and quick. Drinks were amazing (coming from a usually beer only drinker). I didn't have the food, but it smelt amazing. Check the time for sunset and book a time accordingly
