I had a package holiday, self catering for 4 nights. No children. I think I was in an updated room which was the nicest I have stayed in on the Canaries so far. The bed was actually comfortable which is never the case! Compact but good kitchen, missing a few bits like bowls and dish soap but easily bought at the shop on site.
The spa is very dated and the Sauna was warm and the steam room was musty, do not have the spa be a reason to stay here.
Check in was busy, but that’s to be expected, I think people just need to have more patience. The A/C in my room doesn’t get turned on until 1 May, it was very warm at night as on the ground floor didn’t sleep with windows open. Probably would be too hot if there was a family of 4 staying in it.
I had lunch and dinner there once, the reviews are pretty accurate, the queues were long but I avoided peak times and walked right in. It’s all inclusive food. I don’t think people should complain about this. They know what they are getting, and it fills a gap. Always a salad bar and beige food to keep the Brits happy but also some meat and fish options.
Location is great, 10-15 min walk to beach out the back entrance. Bikes to rent on site, loads of staff around to ask for help. This is a nice family resort, reviews say the dome is loud and entertainment is not good. But it’s for children and it looks like they all loved it, so once again I feel people shouldn’t complain about this.
Pool bar snacks are more for kids as well, burgers, pizza, chips etc. which is fine as it’s at the family pool.
Would stay again as it’s a nice hotel, felt very safe, nice staff, beds were very comfy, nice remodeled rooms and good location.

Really enjoyed staying here. Apartment was clean and spacious for our family and there was a playground right outside door which kids were made up with. We went in the winter so the pools were absolutely freezing and could do with being heated. We used the small puddle pools. Small splash park also very good. Not far from main town and reception will order taxi if you ask. Buffet breakfast was nice and had a large variety to choose from.

Great complex, 3 adults 1 bedroom double and sofa bed very comfortable. Clean and bright maid service exceptional 👌. Lovely grounds (and there are lot of grounds) we were self catering however tried restaurant for breakfast at 12€ each and was worth it to be fair, nice clean restaurant and plenty of choice too. Pay the returnable 10€ deposit for the back gate pass it's definitely worth it as it's far nearer to the resort centre and seafront going that way than through reception. Definitely recommend this hotel (no children with us) there's plenty of pools and there's an adults only pool if that's more your thing, we didn't use the dome bar/entertainment much yo be honest because we had family elsewhere there so we went out every evening however we did on a couple of occasions call in for a last drink on our way back some nights. All in all a lovely week at the THB Tropical. We have no complaints and wouldn't hesitate recommending it to anyone.

We had a lovely short break here. The receptionists were efficient and friendly. The room was good problem with ants they gave us spray but my daughter suffered from bites which got infected. However it didn't stop us from enjoying what I believe to be an excellent family resort my grandson was never bored and the splash zone was good. The only downside to it is the location I had to hire a scooter as I have difficulty walking far but the roads are really nice so gad no problem. If your young it's maybe 20 mins to town.

We had a fantastic stay, staff were lovely, amazing facilities. they really have thought about everything you need to have a lovely holiday so you don't even need to leave the hotel. Would recommend for anyone to stay as it's very close to the beach.
