Absolutely stunning spot! The beach is incredibly calm, almost like a pool, and the water is so clear you can see the fish swimming around. The sunset views are breathtaking 😍🌇. It’s very conveniently located near Palma—just a 15 to 29-minute drive or bus ride away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it perfect for a full day of relaxation and dining. Highly recommend! ❤️

The location of this hotel is perfect, right on the beach and as far as I am aware all rooms face the sea. The views are amazing. Staff were great, really friendly, considerate and helpful. The breakfast was good with lots of choice. The snack bar by the pool was great, can definitely recommend the Tuna sandwich and the Sangria was the best we had all holiday. This is an adult only hotel which we loved. There was a mix of ages, however I would say that the majority were late 60s and over. It would definitely not put us off going again though we loved it.

Nothing wrong with the hotel especially the location, right next to the beach and lovely restaurant. The clientele’s are on the older side. The hotel certainly caters for the older crowds with evenings and daily entertainment more to that taste. The room is quite small compared to Fergus, Near the blue bar. If you’re looking for peace and quiet without kids, this is Adults only.
We’re in our late 40’s early 50’s, the hotel suited us well with nice breakfast good service. Comfy bed and nice location. Palma Nova is a stunning location for nice beach good food and relaxing.

We stayed at this beachfront hotel in June mainly for its fantastic location, and it definitely delivers on that front. You’re just steps from the sea, and it’s also within walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants, which was a big plus.
The rooms are bright, very clean, and well maintained—though on the smaller side. We did have a hiccup with our booking, as we were initially given a pool view room despite having booked a sea view. Thankfully, the hotel staff resolved it the next day, which we appreciated.
Breakfast is plentiful, but the area can get busy. The pool itself is lovely, with a mix of sunbeds and day beds that are cleaned every morning. However, the real issue is the daily “sunbed dash.” Guests begin queuing early, and by 9:30am there’s a full-on scramble for loungers. We ended up going to the beach instead, which was much more enjoyable.
Other notes: you’ll find pool towels in your room, but changing them costs €1. The room safe is also an extra charge.
The hotel clearly caters to an older crowd, and the nightly entertainment reflects that. While the older guests seemed to really enjoy it, it wasn’t quite our vibe.
The staff were polite, helpful, and friendly throughout our stay, which made a great impression

Fantastic hotel, very friendly staff always went above and beyond to help. Ideally situated on the beach, this hotel has a laid back attitude. It does cater for the more the more mature clientele which does make it easier when the 9.30 sun bed race is on 🤣
The breakfast was great with plenty of choice.
We were only B&B so I can't comment on the evening menu.
The pool bar and stacks were of good choice but I did find it a little on the expensive side.
The rooms were very good and clean, we received a complimentary glass of fizz on our arrival and a bottle of water in the fridge.
We had a 1st floor room so the view was good but would be better higher up on a different floor.
We would 110% come back to to Son Matias Beach.
