We have just come back from our stay at this hotel, where five of us stayed in two rooms, and it was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, Juan Antonio welcomed us warmly and was always approachable at Reception. One of our group members uses a wheelchair and stayed in the Family Room, and Juan kindly rearranged the rooms so both were together. Although there was quite a distance between the family room and dining area, which was a bit challenging for the person with walking issues, we managed well. Next time, we’ll ask for the person with walking difficulties to be accommodated in the main building rather than the family room. The hotel and its location exceeded all our expectations. Every pool featured walk-in access and hoists, making them very accessible. While the outdoor pools were still cool in May, they became comfortable once you were inside. We chose the all-inclusive package, which provided excellent value with food and drinks available all day. The evening entertainment was average, but since our group was small, it didn’t affect our enjoyment. Our visit coincided with the Derek Ryan Beat the Heat week, which brought more guests, and more reserving of sunbeds with the larger crowds but the hotel would put notes on the beds to clear after 1hr. We had a great holiday and have already booked for next year.

Great location, easy to get to from the airport, to and from Torremolinos, Malaga and anywhere else on the Renfe!
The check in process was easy and smooth, the room was quite disappointing though. Only 1 available plug socket, a kettle with no mugs, tea & coffee etc. twin beds, not double and only news channels in English, no other English speaking TV channels, even though there are plenty of entertainment channels for German, Austrian and even an Uzbek channel!
The room did have a fridge and a nice sized balcony though, the hotel was good size, breakfast had a million different options which was great, especially the omelette station. Drinks on site were very expensive, €20 for a beer and a Malibu and pineapple juice (about half price in local bars)!
The hotel is very close to the beach, with a carrefour express and many restaurants outside and a Mercadona within a close walk. The back gate to the beach is very nice, however we were only told about the pool down here? Not the the 2 big ones at the front
Staff were lovely and nothing was an issue, check out was a little busy, but staff were efficient processing people. We didn’t use any other facilities in site, and went out in the evenings, so not sure what events were like.
Lastly, it was a shame the jacuzzis don’t work in the big pool and the 2nd restaurant and indoor pool was closed when visiting. I also wish you allowed evening swimming, as it’s so lovely and peaceful at that time
Would I return, maybe? But there’s plenty of alternatives close by I think that I would rather try first

I was simply moved by the astonishing and charming staff. Everyone was very helpful. The most memorable and both shocking moment was a surprise from the manager telling us we just won 2 days of full all inclusive even we have been a simple, regular guest with standard room and breakfast included only. Overall, I did liked this stay in terms of price and value 💗💗💗

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. The rooms were always spotless, clean, and very comfortable, and the service from all the staff was excellent throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help.
A very special thank you to the hotel for selecting us as “Customer of the Day” and upgrading us to the all-inclusive package — it was such a lovely surprise and made our stay even more enjoyable and memorable. A special mention and thank you to Juan at the reception, who was incredibly kind, professional, and friendly during our stay. He really made us feel welcome and looked after.
Thank you again for the amazing hospitality. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and hope to return again in the future and try newly refurbished rooms!

Decent quality hotel in great location!
We stayed for three nights at the end of April 2026, we were impressed with the overall quality of room, food and general ambiance. We had a slight issue with our bathroom door lock but the staff responded quickly and whilst we weren't overly worried, they moved our room to a better location within building with south facing, large balcony. The rooms were great with large comfortable beds, and luxurious shower room with rainfall shower and decent water pressure, room cleaned, towels and bedding changed daily which was brilliant!
We opted for breakfast inclusion - the different options were large with plenty of options, I particularly enjoyed the made to order omelettes, array of fresh fruit, yoghurt and pasties. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.
Location wise the hotel is in the heart of Torremolinos, everything is within easy walking distance. I would highly recommend getting UBER app, taxis to Málaga, Airport and Benalmedena around £10-15 each for normal sized car, this became extremely convinent particularly after long days walking or evening journeys. Benalmedena is a great place to walk to (takes approx 1hr 30 mins) plenty to see along the way. We enjoyed a run there and back a couple of times along the sea front.
Overall I would highly recommend Sol Principe Hotel, it is great value and superbly presented/comfortable, the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, what more could you want!
