If you’re looking for a sun-soaked getaway in Torremolinos, Sol Principe is a fantastic choice. It strikes that rare balance between a high-energy resort and a comfortable seaside home.
Here’s the breakdown:
perfect location: you are right on the promenade. Having the Mediterranean literally at your doorstep is the biggest selling point.
Dining: the food is a standout. With a plethora of fresh, varied options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the buffet never feels repetitive.
The rooms: my room was clean and comfy, and the daily room service did a stellar job. While you might spot a few minor, lived-in imperfections, the overall comfort is high.
Facilities: the heated indoor pool is a great refuge for a quiet swim, and the lobby bar is the perfect, lively spot to wind down with a drink.
The staff: this is where the hotel truly shines. The team is incredibly attentive and kind, making you feel like a guest rather than just a room number.
The verdict: Despite some tiny cosmetic flaws, the incredible food, unbeatable location, and warm staff make this a gem on the Costa del Sol.

I have been in many-many hotels around the world, but this one’s restaurant workers ARE THE BEST! So helpful, so kind! ❤️❤️❤️I personally have never experienced any rudeness or something like that from any of them, always helpful, open, sweet. God bless your work, friends! I will definitely miss this hotel. 🌟

Spent a week here last week..
Arrived at hotel to be told our room wasnt ready and that it would be 2 hours wait ( arrived around 1.30).but conviently told we could upgrade to a sea view room for an extra 105 euros which we thought well why not just to get settled in .... wrong move .... on entering our room 1514 we noticed the best view we had was of an other part of the hotel being renovated ... decided to make a cup of tea to calm down but again wrong move as when kettle had boiled the bubbles that came out the kettle ive never seen before .. anyway sat outside on balcony only to be confronted by a worker who was working on the said renovation standing on a balcony with a pair of binoculars peering into not only our balcony but all others on that side of hotel
Then around 3 ocl9ck in morning woke up with sparks flying from the spotlight on ceiling only for the power to cut off( checked fuse box all fine)
Finally got to relay everything to reception in morning but as of up to now still havent recieved an appology or anything
Ps jet 2 never even mentioned in email that work was being carried out or we would have changed hotel as the noise was very loud

Nice hotel, beautiful outdoor pools and great that it is smokers friendly outdoors and on the balcony. Great breakfast options every morning. Great smoothies and they can make a lot of different drinks and cocktails, I even tried my first bloody mary here. If you can speak a little Spanish then you will come a long way, or else then the receptionists speak fluent English :)
A lot of great shopping possibilities as Designer Outlet Málaga and Plaza Mayor is only 3 km away and it only costs 9 euro for taxi.
Nice restaurants nearby, only 250 metres away.
Be careful of the workers outside the hotel, they drive fast with their forklifts.
Nice gym, but not like a commercial gym you see in the city, so no barbells and heavy weights, only light dumbbells, running and cycling machines.
The service from the staff is good, not like Asia good, but for Europe it's really good 😊
We will come back again ❤️ thank you for a nice and relaxing week.

Great stay overall! Sylvia from guest services was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful throughout our visit. Her service truly stood out and made a big difference. From room 1620 and had a lovely experience. She made my friends birthday special, thanks again Sylvia 💓
