Very basic hotel. There is no aircon in the room. I complained as we couldn't sleep with the heat. They said its not summer yet, so no aircon. Don't bother going all-inclusive. You get watered down alcohol drinks. The same food for lunch and dinner. We got so fed up with the food that we ended up eating out. The bar by the bigger pool has a little food court for the all-inclusive guests. Very poor quality and food choices. The pools were lovely and clean but cold. But then we did go in April. The staff were nice. Entertainment every night. They put a lot of effort into entertaining kids in the evening, before the adult entertainment. We arrived at midnight on our first night,so day one of our holidays was over. On day 7,our last day, we were checking out at 11.45am. We were told we could have breakfast,as long as it's before 7.15am. We arrived at breakfast to be told that we couldn't have anything from the hot side, only the cold side. So toast and cereal. I thought this was wrong, as we paid for 7 days all-inclusive, yet only had 5 days of this. The location is good for shopping. I wouldn't go back to this hotel.

We recently stayed at Sol Pelicanos Ocas in Benidorm and overall had a great time! The rooms were very clean, but quite basic – perfect for just putting your heads down after a day in the sun. We were on the 10th floor, and the lifts were painfully slow, often with long waits. If you're booking, definitely try to get a room on the 1st or 2nd floor so you can easily take the stairs.
One thing to note: bring ear plugs. The walls are paper thin, and you can hear everything. Also, there was no air con as it was out of season, which made the rooms a bit hot at night.
That said, the pool areas were lovely – always clean, and we never struggled to find sunbeds, which was a huge plus. The snack bar was well-stocked with plenty of choice, and a special shout out to Raul at the pool bar who helped us out with our "rainbow drinks" – legend!
The entertainment team were brilliant at getting people involved in the daily activities. Big thanks to Miguel who took all our banter like a champ! We only caught the night entertainment once, but it was really good. And of course, Florian the barman was a highlight – always ready with cocktails and teaching us some Spanish along the way.
In short, it's a fab hotel for a group of friends looking for fun and sunshine. Would probably think twice about bringing kids, but for adults looking for a lively, relaxed break, it’s a solid choice.

Lovely hotel, great location for all the bars around. Good size pool and plenty of sun loungers for everyone. The staff were amazing and everywhere is very clean. The rooms are cleaned daily. The food in the restaurant is good and varied everyday and the bar has a good stock of all drinks, and has entertainment on most nights if you don't fancy hitting the bars. We came for the wife's 60th birthday and she was presented with a bottle of pressco from the hotel, a very nice touch. Would recommend that you book for here because you will enjoy it.

Me and my boyfriend literally just got back from an 4 night stay at this hotel, once we got to the hotel the check in was supposed to be 4pm however we luckily got our room at 1.30pm, once we got to our room (527) there were black marks all over the walls and floors, the bathtub was black, skirting boards were dusty and to top it off there was blood on the curtains and pillows, so once we saw this we went down to reception and asked for a new room, they said unfortunately there was no rooms available. So then we went for a drink and all I had in my mind was there was real blood in this room and that I won’t be able to sleep, so my boyfriend went to the reception desk again and demanded a new room and magically they found one. Once we got the new room it was spotless and an even better poolside view. We thought the staff weren’t very customer friendly and they didn’t believe in “customer is always right”, after that we had no problems with the room, the food was lovely however I feel there should be more picky bits, as I noticed the kids there would only have chicken nuggets on there plates as the other foods are very different and complicated to them, We also did pay for all inclusive (which the food was) but I didn’t include the branded drinks or cocktails if anyone was wondering . The entertainment was okay, I loved greatest showman. However the entertainment staff liked to pester and ask for reviews etc when we just wanted to relax. Other than that it was amazing break, and if you’ve watched Benidorm I highly recommend you go to the hotel as it’s something your always remember.

Prime Location for everything, Shops, Markets, Bars and eateries.
The pool area is excellent although the tiles do need some attention as lots of cracked tiles and some mosaic tiles had come loose.
The lifts are terrible, so slow and very noisy and some jolty, taking your life in your own hands if you ride them, stairs where our option.
We stayed in room 423, which was basic but as we only slept in it , it suited our needs. We had a leak which was creating a puddle on the floor, this was soon remedied after we logged it with reception.
We only had B&B facility, the selection for breakfast was good but some things needed to be better, tinned mushrooms? fried bread was always cremated, churros were always undercooked and white, coffee machines were hit n miss in regards to them giving you a full cup or not and then you was lucky if they tasted nice. The jam dispensers didnt want to give you their contents.
In the big picture, these are only minor niggles and didn't create too much of an inconvenience. As 3 different families staying in 3 different rooms we all had a good time.
