Everything was very good, location, staff, cleanliness The beach was on our doorstep and the room was lovely with balcony overlooking the swimming pool and sea.
I am a pure vegetarian no meat fish or eggs, when I asked the chef at SOL by Meliá Málaga Guadalmar restaurant he told me they don’t do any vegetarian meals but they can give me a salad, that was the only downside, we would of liked to have a proper hot meal and dessert, if they did,it would of been great, we had to travel to Malaga & Torremolinos For evening meals at a restaurant, which was fine.

The hotel is extremely stylish and spotless—everything literally shines. Mirrors everywhere, which makes it perfect for checking yourself and taking photos. There’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel that takes you straight to the city center, which is a huge plus.
The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, always answering questions with a smile. Our room was very clean and had a beautiful sea view, and it was fully equipped with everything we needed. The hotel courtyard is so stunning that you could easily spend an entire day there just relaxing. It opens directly toward the beach, and right across from the entrance there’s a restaurant we absolutely love, serving excellent seafood.
However, the breakfast and bar food were disappointing. The breakfast buffet wasn’t appealing to us, and most of the food was cold—especially noticeable since our previous hotel had a very similar buffet but served genuinely hot meals. We also tried the bar food, which was slightly cold and overly salty.
Unfortunately, there aren’t many good restaurant options around the hotel. Aside from the one we mentioned, the others we tried were not impressive at all—and that favorite restaurant only serves lunch. If you have a car and can get to the city center or the main beach area, you’ll find much better dining options there.

I am absolutely appalled that having checked in this hotel the reception did not care to inform me that the local beach was closed because of sewage. Disgusting. My 3 year old boy went swimming in the sea and I am appalled.
If you walk out of the hotel by the pool area and turn left - about 10 minutes walk you arrive at an outflow river area to the sea which is pure stench sewage - I will never come here again.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This hotel is very unique. If you want a relaxing staying with luxury breakfast and nice bus#5 public transportation ride to enjoy Malaga.. go for it
The receptionist was outstanding, the breakfast was amazing, the towel u receive daily for the pool is super cute
The beach walking was something else!!!
we spent 2 days but we felt they were a week ♥️♥️

A brilliant hotel, just a few minutes from the airport and a short taxi ride from the beautiful city of Malaga. The bedrooms are spacious with everything one needs. The hotel is spotless with many amenities for relaxation and enjoyment. Breakfast offers a wide variety of food for all tastes. The staff and friendly and very helpful. Wholeheartedly recommend.
