We had an amazing stay at this beautiful seaside resort. Our room was huge, with a spacious bathroom and an outdoor seating area offering a breathtaking sea view.
Breakfast was decent, though not quite up to the 5-star standards usually seen in the UAE, in my opinion. However, the dine-around option was fantastic — we enjoyed wonderful dinners at the Ritz-Carlton, Waldorf Astoria, and the hotel’s own restaurant.
The beach was stunning — large, with white sand and crystal-clear water. Club Millésime was another highlight; Jamal was incredibly accommodating and made us feel completely at home.
A big thank-you to Charlene at the front desk for her professionalism and warm welcome and Adi was very helpful with our luggages.
Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious seaside escape!

From the moment we arrived, our experience at Sofitel Al Hamra was nothing short of exceptional. Saad made our check-in so smooth and effortless, setting the tone for a stay filled with warmth, care, and world-class hospitality.
The attention to detail throughout our visit has been truly remarkable — every interaction, every smile, and every thoughtful gesture made us feel genuinely valued. The Kids Club deserves a special mention, with Ms. Rachel creating such a joyful and safe space that our little one absolutely adored. The lifeguards were equally attentive and kind, ensuring everyone’s safety while maintaining a cheerful energy around the pool.
At the restaurant, Aravind, the supervisor, went above and beyond — his professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine passion for guest satisfaction made every meal an experience to remember.
Sandesh and Prabin kept on top of all my requests and were so kind and helpful!
And to Mr. Gills — you have an incredible team. Their warmth, dedication, and impeccable service reflect leadership that truly inspires excellence. You should be so proud.

Overall I love how welcoming, friendly & helpful their staffs to us. The receptionist Saad if im not mistaken, is very kind to accommodate all my requests like baby crib, birthday cake etc and even upgrade our room to luxury. The luxury toiletries is just so good! All the services requested are also fast and the staffs never fail to smile. The breakfast & dinner buffet are superb. I love that they have that lagoon pool that opens till 9pm. The nearby mall is good too. Too many good experiences for me to share.

I just finished an exceptional stay, and I can't say enough good things about this hotel. From the stunning location to the beautiful design, every detail was perfect.
What really stood out was the incredible service. The staff here are a cut above the rest—always attentive and ready to help with a smile. The housekeeping team is, without a doubt, the best I've ever encountered. My room was consistently spotless and well-stocked, and I want to personally thank Akshay and Vishak for their incredible attention to detail. Thanks to them and the rest of the wonderful staff, my trip was truly unforgettable.

I have to say, aside from this visit my 5th time, we have the absolutely best service by the pool!!! Biggest shoutout I've ever given for anyone is to Momodou. Man what an amazing guy!
He was absolutely fantastic — super nice, very attentive, and always remembered us, our orders, and most importantly, was super nice to our kids and they loved him! Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he made sure we had everything we needed right away. Truly accommodating and friendly service that made our day even better.
