My husband and I had an amazing stay at the hotel. The moment we parked the car at the hotel, all our luggage were collected by the staff. We were celebrating our anniversary and was upgraded to a sea view room. All the staff from the bellboy to the pool staff was amazing. I wish I could individually name all of them. The waka restaurant was an exceptional dining experience. The cocktails were amazing but the food could be better, but the attention from the service staff made up for that. The room had been decorated for us and a personalized message from Sheilyn, GRA was an additional touch. Couldn’t recommend the hotel enough.

It was great to be back at Sofitel Al Hamra. This is truly an amazing property with stunning design and fantastic facilities.
I want to make a special mention of Mazen at the dinner buffet. He provided perfect service and is such a humble person. He really made our dining experience special.
A big thank you also goes to Jaydee at Club Millésime. The club itself is great with good snacks and service, but Jaydee really went above and beyond to make our stay amazing.
We visited during the UAE National Holidays, so the hotel seemed a bit over capacity at first, but the staff worked incredibly hard to manage the rush. Outside of the holiday dates, the property was super quiet and relaxing.
Finally, I must mention Swami and Ahmed at the pool and pool bar. These two are very hard-working chaps who took great care of us.
Overall, the whole team is working hard to deliver a great experience. I am already looking forward to coming back to this property!

From the moment we arrived, Mohsen was extremely welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to guest satisfaction. He helped us resolve an issue with the utmost professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency, truly setting the benchmark for what hospitality, guest relations, and hotel operations should look like.
What made our experience even more special was his personal touch and care, which played a big role in making our stay unforgettable, especially as we were celebrating my wife’s and son’s birthdays. His dedication and positive attitude made our entire family feel valued and well taken care of.
Mohsen is a true asset to the hotel, and we are very grateful for the outstanding service he provided - I would even say that if there is any reason for me to stay again then it would be him and his attitude.

The resort has beautiful, well-kept grounds and a lovely promenade, perfect for relaxing walks. The beach is spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Our room was big and comfortable, with a nice terrace. There are several large heated pools, which was perfect for swimming at any time. Overall, a very relaxing stay and we’d definitely come back!

It was truly a wonderful experience to visit Sofitel Al-Hamra with family. The location is beautiful and convenient. The Staff are very friendly, caring and helpful. The choices for food is brilliant. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and with a relaxing view.
There are so many of the Staff,who made our stay comfortable & exciting with their friendly & helpful ways & their efficiency. Ivy, Kanchan, Technocious, Thin & Abhishek at breakfast especially Kanchan with her always welcoming smile, we really appreciated the "See you soon" Cake they organized on our last breakfast, Thank you so much 😄, Rachel & Su who were very helpful at the Spa, Maharram at Front desk, The lady(we did not get here name unfortunately)who answered when we dialed '0' was so polite and always wonderful to talk to and helpful no matter what time and no matter what was the question or request, Nay, Charlene & her colleague(I could not get his name unfortunately)at pre-dinner, Nay's service and attentiveness was especially efficient and professional, Ahmed at swimming pool was very helpful and he always immediately left what he was doing to assist us and show us the location of everything & finally Christopher at Concierge was truly the best person we could meet at the entrance for arrival and when departing, he really made us feel welcomed and comfortable, showed us and explained everything in detail in the room and around the whole Resort with patience and friendliness while moving our luggage for us. He really made our arrival and departure so easy and comfortable in every way.
The Resort met and exceeded our expectations in so many ways and we all enjoyed our stay so much. We felt so relaxed and it truly was a beautiful place and a beautiful holiday.
The few things that could be improved would be the Egg Counter and the Shower areas near the Beach.
We truly enjoyed our stay very much at Sofitel Al-Hamra and we really look forward to our next trip there😊👍👏👌😄. Thank you all so much for your lovely efforts. We Wish You All, All The Very Best For 2026. Happy New Year!!!
