We stayed here for 4 nights/ 5 days and have enjoyed our stay. We did all inclusive which was great food wise but a lot of drinks were not included - no named brands just some machine made cocktails and spirit with mixer. In terms of the rooms, the cleaners came daily and made the beds and given us new towels but they did give us a dirty towel, not a massive deal though as there were plenty spare. The room itself was nice but the bathroom was a little bit mouldy and the drains smelt a bit. The whole hotel could do with a new layer of paint to look more fresh and presentable Entertainment great in the evening if you have kids, very friendly staff all throughout the hotel. The pool area is nice, we did VIP area for our last day, nice and peaceful up there but a shame you cannot get your all inclusive drinks up there or even bring them up from the bar below. You must pay on that bar which was a shame. The main pool is great but a bit of sunbed wars in the morning, I guess you can expect that with most hotels though. We got to the pool for 8.30 each morning and was limited on which subbed we could choose Overall, this is a great place if you are on a budget or a large family. Would come back, the location is great with excellent views over Puerto Rico. Thank you for the nice stay 😄

I have never experienced such appalling conditions in any hotel as I did at Rio Sol Gran Canaria. This stay was a complete nightmare for my family and me, and I strongly advise others to avoid this property. Here’s what we faced: Cockroach and Bug Infestation: Our room was crawling with pests. A live cockroach ran across the room and even onto the bed as soon as we arrived. There were dead cockroaches in the bedding, bed bugs in the mattress, and ants in the bathroom. Absolutely disgusting! Filthy Room: The room was filthy from the start. There was an ashtray full of cigarette butts, stained robes, chewing gum inside the wardrobe, and rubbish piled up. The smell was unbearable. The sofa bed was so stained it was unusable. Unsafe for Children: Electrical wires were exposed and hanging from the walls. A wire box was loose at child level, and lights were falling off the walls. A serious electrocution hazard! Injury and Illness: My 9-year-old sliced his finger on a broken pool ladder, and despite reporting it, nothing was done. To make things worse, my son also became ill with diarrhea after eating their cold, poor-quality food. Staff Attitude: When we raised these issues, the reception staff and a waiter laughed at us. The manager, Vanessa, was rude and completely unhelpful. They did nothing to fix the situation. Second Room Was No Better: We were moved to another room, but it was still dirty, unsafe, and the safe didn’t work, meaning we couldn’t secure our belongings. My children (ages 9 and 12) were in tears from the filth and bugs. We ended up leaving and paying for another hotel at our own expense. This hotel ruined our holiday. I have full photo evidence of everything listed above and will be escalating this to health authorities. DO NOT STAY HERE – it is unsafe, unhygienic, and a total disgrace!

Santiago and Maddy the animation staff are extremely friendly and nice. It is really nice. I love the pool and belly flops. The hotel was extremely accommodating and all staff made us feel very welcome. Trips into the main town are super easy too. It has been a wonderful holiday.

This hotel is in serious need of improvement. Arrival was straight forward Our room was a superior with air conditioning. That was just for the living space. The bedroom had a ceiling fan which was thick with dust The tap in the shower was hanging off. No linen change in 7 days. No towel change either. I had to complain about both. The pool area is not adequate. No where near enough loungers. There is a VIP pool area which is 25 euros a day each person and we paid it! The staff on the whole are friendly. A couple were very rude, one being a receptionist and the other a bar tender. Breakfast was a buffet style, nice but expensive. We met some friends, they were all inclusive but had to leave the VIP area for drinks and had to drink them by the main pool bar! Staff are very loud in the mornings, we were disturbed every morning at around 7.30 am!

Fantastic Stay at Riosol Servatur! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 My wife and I had a wonderful time at Riosol Servatur. The room was clean and comfortable, with regular towel changes and great housekeeping. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and always-smiling chefs who made us feel welcome. The swimming pool was spotless and well looked after, and the lifeguard (SOS guy) was always alert and professional. A big highlight was Santiago from the Animation team – full of energy and joy, always lifting the mood with his famous line: “Animation... EXCELLENTEEEEE!” The only downside was the bar staff, who often seemed unfriendly, especially when guests struggled with pronunciation or accents. It was disappointing compared to the rest of the amazing service. Overall, brilliant hotel, amazing food, great entertainment – we’d definitely come back!
