I had the most relaxing and joyful time at Serenity Alpha Beach. From the breathtaking sea views to the peaceful atmosphere, everything was perfect. The staff were kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the beach was simply paradise.
Special thanks to Ahmed and Mansour, the lifeguards who went above and beyond every single day Their professionalism, warm attitude They weren’t just doing their job they were creating a peaceful and happy environment for everyone. You’re truly lucky to have them on your team!
Also, a big thank you to the animation team, who brought energy, fun, and unforgettable moments to our stay They turned every day into a celebration.

We had a very nice stay in Aug 25. Hotel is big, although not new, its well preserved and maintained. Its located in front of beach, gardens and grass are lush, rooms spacious, toilets big and modern, every room is clean and has balcony with some kind of nice view, either garden, pool or beach. Its has 5 pools, 2 salty with bar ínside. There are hundreds of sunbeds so no race for sunbeds as other resorts, incluinding beach huts which are always available. Animation is great day and night. Lobbies are beautiful and theres a 24 h bar. Its has 2 main all inclusive restaurants one main near lobby another by the beach and five thematic restaurants from Indian to mexican, from asian to marocan also included. There s a wide range of food in the main restaurants buffets and its reasonable, could be better but still good. Now, Im my opinion the best this hotel has: when on the beach there is a pier stretching some 50 m intro the ocean. Até the end it has stairs for a 12 m deep coral reef with thousands of fish around, making it a snorklers paradise, awsome.

Stayed at Serenity Alpha for 6 nights in August as part of a bigger trip to Egypt. Firstly, as per a few other reviews I have seen, this resort is not quite up to 5* standards. This is not a reflection on the majority of the staff who seem to work exceptionally hard and for long hours (and I imagine for relatively low pay).
Having 2 teenage children we were assured of two adjoining rooms, but when we got to the area the rooms were 4-5 rooms apart so that was our first disappointment. There is a system of being able to book one of the many restaurants (up to 3 times a week) as part of the All-Inc package. Sadly the WiFi and website was so slow we only managed to book one after 2 days of trying, all the available slots were booked up. The main buffet was decent if you go to whoever is cooking the fresh foods (kebabbed meats, custom omlettes etc). Never managed to book the tennis court (always an issue with the rackets??). The guys selling oils, drinks, skin-eating-fish etc are pretty annoying and they never give up - trying to get you to "promise" to visiting them. The all-male aspect of the resort staff (I think I only met 2 female staff) can be a bit intimidating, especially for young girls.
One morning woke up to hear staff physically fighting behind our apartment building. There were regular powercuts for us all week, sometimes up to 30 mins at a time (in the evenings). We took a day trip to Hurghada - the mini-bus broke down on the way back in 40 degree heat. A second bus came to rescue us but when we got back to the resort there wasn't a hint of getting a refund or any word of an apology.
There's plenty of good stuff to make a great holiday here - the swimming pools are great, the water slides in the Alma resort nextdoor are great, the beach is clean and the snorkelling is great. It's just not 5*.

Lovely hotel. Rooms are nice, clean and big. A little bit dated and the beds are not as comfortable.
The location is nice and quiet however if you want to go to city centre its 50 min drive away.
Staff are very friendly.
Mohamed on reception helped me with a tour booking when I arrived late at night as I needed to go early morning so he used his phone and took time to help me so I really appreciate that.
The grounds of the hotel are big, lots of swimming pools and of course the beach. The food at the restaurant is also really nice. Very nice and relaxing stay.

Honest Review – Not Worth the 5-Star Rating
While the resort presents itself as a 5-star establishment, the room I stayed in did not meet that standard—at best, it resembled a 3.5-star accommodation. The food quality also fell short compared to other 5-star hotels I've visited; I'd rate it around 4 stars.
Unfortunately, I experienced food poisoning during my stay, despite only consuming bottled water, suggesting the issue likely stemmed from the food. The main restaurant was consistently overcrowded during meal times, creating a chaotic, cafeteria-like atmosphere.
I was initially assigned a ground-floor room and requested a change to an upper-floor room. The reception staff kept postponing, asking me to return the next day or after 2 PM, without providing a definitive solution.
The room had an unpleasant odor, and the bed linens didn't smell fresh. We had to request disposable slippers from the reception, as they weren't provided initially.
The coffee served was subpar—only instant coffee was available, which seems to be a common issue across Egypt.
On the beach and by the pools, vendors offered fruits and fresh juices, but these came at an extra cost. Considering this was an ultra all-inclusive package, charging extra for such items felt unfair.
Overall, I find it hard to understand the high ratings of 9.2 on Google and Booking.com. In my opinion, it doesn't deserve more than a 7.8. I wouldn't choose to stay at this hotel again.
