An Unforgettable Holiday at Selene Beach & Spa Hotel
It’s been only a week since our holiday ended, but we've already started planning our next trip! The staff and team at the hotel were so attentive and kind that we felt completely at home—like we had been coming to this hotel for years.
Every guest is made to feel special. From the moment we arrived to the day we left, the staff continuously checked in to see if we needed anything.
Even though the hotel area is relatively small, it’s beautifully maintained, with a lovely garden and greenery. There’s a very cozy bar nestled in the greenery where we spent a lot of time—it was so pleasant that we didn’t even feel the need to go to the main restaurant. They serve delicious hamburgers and traditional Turkish pastries right there.
At other hotels we've stayed in, it was always difficult to find a spot on the beach. While the beach here isn’t large, we never had a problem finding sunbeds.
The patisserie staff were friendly and polite, and the desserts were absolutely delicious.
In the evenings, the weather was a bit chilly, so we would sit in the lobby before the animation shows started. The lobby bar staff were incredibly courteous—even when collecting our empty glasses, they asked for our permission first.
Cleanliness was top-notch. We never saw even a single cigarette butt lying around—everything was spotless.

"An ideal hotel. I really loved that the hotel has a 16+ concept. During the day, it's very comfortable, the music in the bars is not loud, no one is shouting or disturbing, and no one is throwing a ball at you. In the evening, the parties for adults are very impressive. The food is very good and everything is always fresh. I visited the spa twice. The rooftop pool is gorgeous with a very beautiful view. I really enjoyed the attitude of the staff – everyone is very caring and constantly asked if everything was okay with me. I really liked the cocktails at the poolside bar; I definitely recommend trying them. My room was a separate delight. Every day, they made very cute animals out of towels on my bed. It was a shame to ruin these figures; sometimes I wanted to ask for extra towels! I've been to many places, but this is the first time I've seen staff who genuinely enjoy their work and love what they do. For the first three days, I was curious and didn't tip anyone, but the staff's attitude didn't change; everything was perfect, and it remained the same after I started tipping. I usually don't stay at the same hotel twice, as I like to explore new places for vacation. But I will definitely return to this hotel. I want to mention some employees who particularly impressed me – the bartenders at the beach bar, Burak and Hayrettin. The guys are always smiling and very attentive to guests. I also liked the female chef in the restaurant, although unfortunately, I don't know her name. I would also like to thank the woman who makes the Turkish flatbreads; she is very sweet. Regarding the cleanliness of the hotel, there are no complaints whatsoever. One evening, I was sitting on the terrace in the lobby, and guests at the next table spilled a drink. Not even a minute had passed before a cleaner came, apologized for the inconvenience, and quickly cleaned everything up. I am amazed at how promptly and professionally everything is handled in this hotel. Many thanks to all the staff; I will definitely be back!"

Just home from a delightful adult only hotel with some modern quirky decor. Great value for money. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The hotel, grounds and beach are very clean. Lots of variety of food, spoilt for choice for breakfast , lunch or dinner, different dishes to try every night, chicken, beef, fish etc. Snacks available throughout the day including a beautiful patisserie next to the restaurant. Night and day entertainment was good along with daily activities like yoga, darts, basketball, bowls etc. A great gym in the basement with all the essential equipment. The spa and pool on the 6th floor was delightful. Lovely treatments, Devi was amazing with the lymphatic massage (actually booked 3 massages in total because they were so good) Good spa prices too.To sum up the week, it catered all our needs and more! We will definitely re visit this hotel again. Thank you x

So where do I start with rating Selene?
The first word that springs to mind is 'outstanding' and that I think sums up what I think about this hotel. We paid for a 5* experience, and boy that's what we got.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive. Taking our luggage to the rooms, reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
The room we had was lovely, beautiful sea view to wake up to every morning. The rooms were kept very clean and tidy, even the little things of the towel animals added the touch of 'we care about your holiday'.
The facilities at the hotel were fantastic. The pool area was clean and very well maintained, plenty of sun lonugers for people to use. There's a bar there, a burger bar between 12 and 4, a snack bar that serves meals if you don't fancy going into the restaurant for lunch. There's a patisserie place that you can go and sample nice coffees, teas and various cakes from 1pm, they also do waffles and ice cream.
The restaurant itself was simply outstanding. Huge amount of choice for each meal, there's something for everyone. From the vast salad selection, to the hot choices, desserts and all the bits in between, you would struggle to find anything you didn't like. The theme nights were a huge success, Turkish night in particular was amazing, there were performers and drums and lots of traditional Turkish food to try, it was just amazing the show that they put on.
The staff in the restaurant were fantastic, very attentive, friendly and welcoming, I couldn't fault them at all.
The entertainment staff were equally as lovely, very friendly and encouraging, the evening entertainment was varied, being an adult only hotel, lots of parties, karaoke and acts coming in to perform for guests, really made the evenings very enjoyable.
We bought a spa package, this is located at the top of the building. Probably the best massages I have ever had, the lady I had knew within ten minutes that I was having issues with my lower back and neck, and that was just from the 'tester' massage. They were all outstanding, all incredibly friendly, the staff running the spa were equally as amazing and friendly. We also had access to the rooftop pool which had the most wonderful view around.
I have used the word outstanding a number of times, because to me, that is exactly what this hotel is, outstanding. Head and shoulders above the rest of the hotels that I have ever stayed at when visiting Turkey, the attention to details, the phenomenal list of cocktails you can have on the all inclusive menu, to the staff who just went above and beyond, it's made the holiday quite simply outstanding!
I will definitely be returning to the Selene Beach and Spa Resort, and I would urge anyone reading this review to do the same, I cannot recommend it enough, so go on, treat yourself.

It is a wonderful hotel, the staff, the service, the rooms. There is very little that you could complain about this hotel. The variety of food at every meal gives choice to all tastes.
