Just returned home from a week stay at these lovely apartments, everything from start to finish was lovely. There were 6 of us staying here so I requested rooms close together prior to arrival, the request was granted. We had 2 2 bedroom apartments and one one bedroom. The rooms were immaculate, very clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was great, it wasn’t too busy so no problem getting sun loungers, the pool bar was ideal and prices were relatively cheap, we ate a few times from there and the food was lovely. This was my first time in Lanzarote and i would without hesitation return to The Santa Rosa, thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

the Santa Rosa is rated as 3+, but it is more like a 2+, it is very tired, a lot of cracked and loose tiles on all the walk ways, the food was the lowest quality products they could serve, the "bacon" was turkey bacon, the fruit was mostly soft or going moldy. The facilities were all used by the locals who receive preferential treatment over guests of the hotel. The area is very run down, derelict buildings, The walls in the room were bulging from damp and had just been painted over, where do i stop the list goes on and on

I stayed here for a week on my own , I requested an apartment near main building and got one , it was immaculate. Travelled with Jet 2 and everything went smoothly . There are a couple of supermarkets close by as well as restaurants and bars , you can do a lovely walk along the promenade from here too. I went Dinner B & B , the food was hot and varied, and definitely high end of three stars . The pool was very cold , perhaps in summer months it will be better , but in a plus there are more than plenty sun loungers , so you never got people putting towels on them , which was nice . Would definitely go back

Lovely little resort great for chilled family breaks, a little out from the main beach and clubs but easy enough to get a taxi or ten minute walk, it also had a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops just outside the resort so you really don’t have to go far. Great for small children however there is no night entertainment so it really is a chilled holiday for lounging and eating out in evenings. Rooms were spotless and majority of staff were so friendly especially the housekeepers who were absolutely great. The only negative thing was one of the staff at the pool side snack bar, a blonde older lady was extremely rude to myself in-front of the other customers. I understand it can get stressful with orders coming in but I had a hard time verbally communicating due to a head injury and she was shouting at me as they got my order wrong, other customers/witnesses had later approached me and asked if I was ok and agreed it was so uncalled for. I actually avoided the snack bar for the rest of my holiday as I felt totally embarrassed and anxious to see her again. When I did see her she apologised but it still left quite a mark on my holiday. I’m sure this was a one off and I did not complain as I just wanted to forget about it and enjoy the rest of my holiday but unfortunately it definitely put me off visiting again.

I stayed here with my family (2 adults & 3 kids) for 11 nights. The location was great as there was a pharmacy right next door and a mini supermarket 2 minutes walk away. The "square" was a 15-minute scenic walk along the coast away, and there was a Chinese shop that sold floaties, snorkels, mugs, etc, beside it.
In terms of facilities, I stayed in the 2 bed bungalow. There was a small sitting room with a kitchette, 1 bathroom and 2 bedrooms. It had air conditioning, which I felt was really needed. The kitchen had a kettle, 2 ring "cooker", a fridge with a shelf like freezer (ours didn't work the best). There were small cups, glasses, wine glasses, bowls, plates, chopping board, 1 sharp knife, a toaster, and a colander. Very basic but all you really need for holidays. The only thing that annoyed me, there was only 1 plug in the kitchen so using the toaster and the kettle together took time (first world problems!).
There was a TV and we bought our firestick for Netflix, etc.
The bathroom was big enough, and was like a wet room. The shower had good power, and there was shower gel and shampoo (and soap) available.
The bungalows were cleaned daily (except a Wednesday and Sunday), and fresh towels were available on request.
There was a rack to dry clothes outside, a patio with a table and chairs and 4 sun loungers which was great. It meant you didn't have to lie at the pool if you didn't want to.
Other facilities:
- Pool: salt water, which took a little getting used to. Very clean with a ramp for access. There was an indoor pool too which I didn't use.
- Pool bar: There were good food and drink options from slushieses, soft drinks, cocktails, beer, sangria & ice cream.
- Kids club: There was a range of activities daily. The kids went to Softplay every day at 11:40 until 12:30. Bingo was on every weekday at 15:30 which was great fun. Other activities varied every day from water polo, Paddle, mini golf, bowling, cards, arts & crafts, etc. Yaril was excellent with the kids and got everyone involved. My kids ages ranged from 12 to 4, and there was something to suit all.
- Play ground: There was a small playground, but it was more suited to the younger kids. My 4 year old loved it.
- Gym: I used the gym once. It was very hot and there was no air conditioning, but there were plenty of machines, weights, etc, so if you're a gym bunny, it wasn't bad!
- Washing machine: There was a self-service washing machine available which cost €5 per wash and a dryer which cost €4 per load. I didn't find it great, but it was handy for the towels, which got very clogged up with salt from the pool.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Club Santa Rosa. There are some areas which need a little upgrade, but I would recommend it. Having soft play and bowling on site was great for the kids as it got them out of the sun when it got very warm. The location was great! There was a beach 15 mins walk away where we did snorkelling with the kids. We bought the snorkels in the Chinese shop for approx. €18 each. It was absolutely amazing. It was the best part of the holiday so I highly recommend it.
