I have stayed here before and it is a really nice place. Staff on arrival and throughout the stay were very friendly and very helpful. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The pool bar is really good and great for a drink and a spot of lunch. The room was a 2 bedroom studio with living area and kitchen. Very spacious and really clean. I had room #1067, I picked this because although it doesn't face the pool, it has the sun for the majority of the day, 9:00 am onwards. Loads of facilities for kids if you're with a family, and a couple of Padel courts. About a 10-15 min stroll into town which is ideal on a sunny day and a €3 ride back in a taxi. A few decent eating places close by on your doorstep and then a vast array in town.
2 things stopped this being a 5 star rating. The AC is poor, left it on all day and it was still very warm in the room, just didn't really work well, even at max fan. Secondly, the Wifi is really spotty and I generally used data. In this day and age it isn't hard to provide good speed wifi, and whether you like it or not is a big need even on holiday.

Cheap and cheerful for what I wanted
I was in room 2010 , 2nd floor but at the back looking at the road the kitchen vents and roof of the Olympic size pool .
I had no sunbed dramas no matter what time I went to the pool area .
Pool is a good size , albeit very salty and freezing .
Drinks in the pool bar around €7 for a rum and coke or €3.50 for a coke .
Food not too bad , pizza was very nice . All staff where friendly enough including a maintenance guy who helped me to my room on my arrival .
Onsite gym was always very busy so I opes for a good long walk along yhe front .
Lots of bars and supermarkets minutes walk and the bus stop to PDC 5 min walk away .

Santa Rosa is amazing! We stayed here in April and the resort and apartments are fantastic!
Firstly the apartments are spacious for a family with a huge TV in the lounge and a small kitchenette with, fridge, two ring hob, kettle and toaster(all the crockery needed etc), microwave and dining table and four chairs, there is a patio outside with two loungers and a table n four chairs. Bedrooms have larger than average twin beds and fantastic Aircon, usb plus in the wall as well as normal plug sockets, wardrobe hangers and drawers, bathroom shower was a dual head with good water pressure and free shower gel and shampoo on the wall.
We stayed 1301 directly opposite the pools and a stride from the pool snack bar/restaurant and play park. The pool bar had great drinks and cocktails and a good food menu, the pools were clean and cleaners were out every day at 7sm washing down the poolside and loungers and emptying bins etc. the whole area was immaculately clean and tidy.
If you go around the back of reception, out the glass door and turn left, go down the metal stairs to area where the bowling alley is there is a soft play center and for anyone staying in Santa rosa this is free for children under age 13 (it opens around 4pm everyday, earlier at weekends) and our two younger ones loved it. The bar here also serves nice drinks (hot, cold and alcohol) as well as some delicious freshly made pizzas for only €6.50, as well as tapas, fries and other hot food.
There is also a mini golf on the grounds which is fun for all, tennis courts too and the reception area has a small market holder selling trinkets and souvenirs on the evenings.
Across the road there is a brilliant restaurant, very classy! Also a fish resturant, all you can eat Chinese place (wonderful sushi) a superdino supermarket etc, lots or choose from. Up the road a short walk is the fabulous Dickins bar!!! (Great cocktails, only €7 each) Beer, wine or spirits). Next door to this is an Indian place and other restaurants, all serving great food at reasonable prices.
Playa Bastian is a walk away, so are other areas and beaches all again with lovely bars and restaurants.
You can catch the number 3 bus up the road to other areas, we went to playa del Carmen on the bus for the day, cost us €14.75 for a 5 people (around €2-3 each).
We cannot rate about Santa Rosa enough, lovely place, local to everything you need, nice pools, nice bar and restaurant on site plus the kids soft play is a bonus as it's free!
Loved Lanzarote and will certainly be coming back here again soon.

Very clean and well kept properties, a little 10-15 min walk to main centre which suited us fine. Not to far from the airport so not sat on a bus for ages (25 mins) the pool was cold when went in Jan so not heated. Good gym. The pool bar was on par with the pubs surrounding the complex outside. Staff lovely and friendly. We were self catering so only tried the pool bar with was good but go for the local bocadlio ( small freshly baked bread) as the sandwiches were basic not quite English bread. Other main meals we saw at the bar ( which others had) looked good
