Stayed 4 nights from 02/01/2024.
Location was perfect. Only 10 minutes drive from the airport and 10 minutes walk to local restaurants and shops which are on the seafront. From there you can walk as far as you want along the seafront which was just fantastic.
The accommodation is rated 2 star and so our expectations were that it would be basic. And it was. Though that isn’t a bad thing as we just used it as a base.
The pool was great and our apartment was near enough next to the pool which was perfect.
The apartment itself had basic equipment, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. No oven.
It also had air conditioning which worked great.
We had a couple of nights where the people in the apartment above woke us up around 3am as their kids were running around and banging on the floor, which was followed by some shouting and it went on for about an hour. We could’ve said something but didn’t see the point as there’s not much anyone could do about kids waking up in the middle of the night most likely excited and not realising we could hear everything below.
The only other issue was the mattresses which felt worn and needed replacing. The springs could be felt and again we thought about saying something but didn’t bother seeing as we were only staying 4 nights.
It just felt like a 2 star rated experience so we should’ve expected some issues.
We probably wouldn’t return unless we knew we’d get a better apartment, but that said, the location more than made up for it.
Staff were friendly and especially in the little supermarket. We didn’t visit the on site restaurant/bar so not sure if it was any good.

As a no frills self catering apartment it gets 5 stars - clean. Great bathroom. Great location. Well stocked supermarket on site.
But unfortunately I wouldn’t stay again because it’s so difficult to get a good nights sleep. The bed frame is so badly designed that every time you roll over in the night it wakes you up! Hard to believe (and I’m a heavy sleeper) but true. The mattress is fine. But the frame is awful and no amounts of wd40 will fix it

Friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms. Had a restful 2 weeks. We managed to get an apartment on the ground floor although you have to go down steps (or ramp) to get to the swimming pool, which was either 'fresh'! Booked to go next year. Enjoyed watching the planes arriving (or departing ).

Small complex of basic apartments about ten minutes walk from Matagorda Beach and the bar and restaurant complex.
An easy 10 minute drive from the airport. You can hear the planes coming and going but it was not too intrusive.
We had a top floor 1 bedroom apartment facing south over the pool with lovely mountain and sunset views.
WiFi almost non existent. Had to buy an extra data package as 4g coverage was ok.
All the staff we encountered were very pleasant.
Had drinks at the small bar a few times, reasonable prices.
Small supermarket on site with larger ones, Lidl and Mercadona a short drive away.
We had breakfast on the balcony each morning. Microwave,toaster,kettle and a few pots and pans provided.
We hired a car and the parking was on the street in front of the complex. We found parking spot every day but it could be challenging if the complex is fuller.
Would stay here again as the location is good for easy access to the main roads to visit the attractions of the island. We also liked that you could walk to the bars and restaurants in the nearby complex and would recommend the Jazz Bistro for excellent food and service.

We stayed at the end of February the service from Sandra on reception was fabulous she recognised us from when the stayed about 10 years ago.The apartment was great the whole resort has been refurbished since our last stay.The only thing was the restaurant on site wasn't as good as the last time we were there.On site supermarket was still great we enjoy there freshly made croissant and tuna patties.
