We had a three bedroom house, the rooms were a good size. There is a lovely pool area with a restaurant alongside the pool. The location is great for a quiet holiday.

Salema Beach Village is amazing! The staff is wonderful, the accommodations exceeded our expectations, the pool is amazing, and the prices are very reasonable.
We loved walking to the beach, but we were stoked to get a ride back up the hill (they offer rides to/from the beach…but the walk downhill is nice). Salema is gorgeous and the beach is idyllic. There aren’t many places left in Europe where there is a lovely combination of a tourist beach scene combined with a thriving fishing industry.
It’s very family-friendly, ideally located for nearby surf, and extraordinarily safe.

This hotel is not only awful but beware when you book with them online since they will book you and not accept cancellations within the cancellation policy. You’ll end up paying for a reservation that was cancelled since they need your money. The hotel is selling off their units so beware. There are way better places to stay in Portugal. Stay away from this fraudulent place.

We stayed here as a family of 4 June 2023. We found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. The apartments/villas/houses are excellent, loads of space, 2 bedrooms with en-suites, kitchen was fully equipped, I couldn’t fault the accommodation.
The woodwork above our balcony was looking a little tired with paint flaking off but I noticed apartments closer to the pool has recently been painted, they were painting lots of areas, always seemed to be decorating.
The pool area is nice but unless you’ve accommodation around the pool, you will have a walk and most likely have to cross a road. We were originally allocated block 007 which was closer to the beach than the pool! Too many steps for children and elderly to go to/from the pool each day although you can request the buggy to take you. We were moved further up the hill to a more flatter part of the complex. The steps around the complex don’t have any handrails.
The pool bar is great with a good selection of snacks and drinks. It’s a little pricy for what it is but that’s to be expected.
They offer a free buggy/car to the town as the hill is very steep.
Overall a lovely place, just be mindful of the plot numbers (map attached) when checking in. We ended up at plot 046 which was pretty perfect - it had parking right outside which was handy.

Beautiful resort set in the gorgeous village of Salema. Just 10 mins to the beach. Authentic village. Chilled, peaceful and beautiful place to visit. 5-Star resort.
