Nice small, modern and clean hotel. Very very fresh and good quality breakfast. Excellent soft boiled eggs, pancakes and was able to order decaf cappuccino with no extra charge. Rooms are modern, very comfy beds. We were in Feb so pool area closed.

Location is nice, near to all local shops, can be used as a starting point to drive to nearby areas, as well.
Employees are polite, always willing to help and the breakfast was good.
Room overall was ok with big space, the only negative about the rooms with the jacuzzis in the balcony is that it is not as private as it looks in the pictures. People walking on the street or hotel’s neighbors can actually see you on the balcony, inside the jacuzzi it is hard to be seen though. Would suggest outdoor privacy for these rooms.
Also, I did not like the fact that we were asked to sign a document stating that if we lose anything outside of the safe box, the hotel is not accountable. It made me think that anyone could break into the room and steal during my stay while the hotel does not have the appropriate measures to protect its customers.

Had a room with a pool view and we were disappointed with ‘the view’ as we basically faced a wall and all we could see was the furthest section of the pool and a wall. Our ground level room lacked privacy if you opened the curtains, and it was next to the kitchen so it wasn’t the best room to be in. It was noisy in the morning with the delivery of food and the room itself was quite small… the tv was about a metre in front of the couch and there was very little to view ‘. Also, having to carry up luggage a flight of stairs to get to the mezzanine bedroom was not enjoyable.
It’s a shame because we really wanted to love this place as it looks impressive and it’s not cheap. It was well positioned.

PS. I asked to speak with the manager in charge of the hotel however, he never arrived despite making a couple of requests with his management team below him. First time this has occurred.

Amazing hotel with a lot of taste and style, built probably with owner direct supervision - obviously for 5 star expect high quality items - bed/taps/shower etc - but equal level of space between tiles + gypsum/plaster moldings around entire ceiling defintely a personal touch + marble floor +jacuzzi + beach bed on balcony.. well done, bravo!

First thing to say is that the staff is really wonderful and everyone we interacted with did their very best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel is recently renovated and overall in a very good state. The location is very central with lots of bars and restaurants around. The rooms are very clean and very modern.
However, as much as I'd like to, I can't give this hotel 5 stars, I really tried...
First of all, the pictures of the rooms on Google, booking or their own website are not uo to date. They are renders. The rooms with the outside Jacuzzi look extremely private in the pictures, but they are really not! These rooms are on the first floor of the rear of the building facing the marina. The rooms are directly at te street, so everyone who walks past can see you if you are on the balkony. They just can't see the jacuzzi. I'll post some pictures to give a real view of these rooms.
Secondly, the first room we stayed in had severe noise at night from the boiler in the basement directly under the room. Also the jacuzzi in the first room did not fully work. We got relocated to the room next door which had a smaller balcony and where one of the light switches of the room wasn't working.
Lastly, we were offered a free dinner due to a complication with out payment, which was very nice. However, we were on the only people in the restaurant and when we received the menu it became clear why. The menu is not at all representative for the area with only pasta, pizza and some risotto dishes. We then declined to eat in the restaurant. The next day we wanted to order some room service, but we were told there is a problem with the kitchen. Eventually the staff made it possible by ordering food from the neighboring hotel. In the end we received a bill for this saying we had already spend our free dinner the day before (we didn't order anything and ate outside instead). Eventually we settled this dispute. Overall a bit unpleasant and I would recommend not to eat here at all.
The breakfast is average.
Also, although the hotel is recently renovated, if you look closely there are small defects all around the rooms and shared facilities. A bit disappointed about this.
I highly recommend to the owner to post some accurate pictures of the rooms because to us it felt like a scam...
