We did not stay at the hotel but were charged us in full, which is why I take the opportunity to warn others. We are currently having to file a claim with European Commission's Consumer protection authority. I should have read reviews before booking - lots of people shared experience with this hotel that was bordering on fraud.
Our booking was for 2 adults and 2 children. I booked on my phone and not typed in the children's ages - a mistake I owned and after being contacted by the hotel reception, immediately let them know my (young) children's ages. With that, they proceeded to tell me the price will be "increased" but did not tell me by how much. Instead, they told me to contact Booking Customer service to find out. It was 100 eur more per night and as soon as Booking found out for us, Booking and I were trying to contact the hotel several times a day to let them know I wish to cancel because we had never agreed to said exorbitant price.
Our booking was made on non-refundable terms, which by law does not supersede the fact that we informed the hotel in advance we are not wishing to use the service under the new terms (the new price) that we never knew when booking, and never agreed to; and which they were reluctant to reveal (and never directly did) - which alone is illegal.
Riu's customer support is set up so that it is meant to wear you out and give up: The international number will tell you they cannot do anything because this is in the competence of the local hotel; and the hotel vice versa.
We came on the day of the booking to seek assistance at the reception desk - thinking this is a misunderstanding. We were so wrong. The front desk, fully staffed, could not have been more disinterested and rude. They said to my face they would mark us as a no show and then I am welcome to write a review.
We were charged in full, had spent hours on customer service and reception lines, ended up having to find different accommodation with two young children, and continue to be blatantly ignored by their international Customer Service Team.

We were delighted with the hotel. As with all the RIU's that we have stayed in, Bravo was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The staff were amazing as ever. It was situated near the beach, it is easy to get to Palma and the fantastic aquarium. The resort was a disappointment. We should have done our research! Full of party goers, very loud into the early hours in the morning and a pervading smell of urine on the streets each morning.

I spent one whole week in July with my family with all-inclusive.
The Beach is easily accessible.
The rooms were ok and spacious.
There gym is small but normally sufficient to keep the shape.
The hotel’s all-inclusive: three limited alcoholic drinks at lunch and dinner… Apart from that the alcoholic drinks are paid… After dinner there is no more food service available… This is not an ALL inclusive.

Only words of praise for accommodation, food, cleanliness, staff.
It what I didn't like, and which is a 20-year-old problem introduced by German tourists who are the majority of hotel guests (but they don't do it in their country) is the so-called "reservation" of the sunbeds by the pool in every morning by putting the towels on the lounger, just in case, if they want to come or not!
In 70% of cases, they remain empty almost all day. Personally, I refuse to stoop to such a practice, which I started during the communist era, when empty "reservation" bags were left in front of grocery stores! So I'm not going to the pool. ( :-((
But I understand and the staff point of view , the German tourists are majority !
