This hotel completely ruined our holiday. There were 12 of us in our group, and every single one of us became violently ill with sickness and diarrhoea during our stay — and we’re still not fully recovered even after getting home. Speaking to other guests, it was clear we weren’t the only ones – so many people were ill.
From the moment we arrived, it was a disaster. We got there around 10pm to find no food available at all and nowhere open to get anything to eat. The room was filthy – toothpaste smeared on the wall and mirror, bathroom dirty, and the whole place smelt of sewage. The rooms were old, poorly maintained, and the beds weren’t changed once in the whole week.
Most rooms are directly above the lobby area, which was constantly noisy late into the night, making it impossible to sleep. Between the noise, the smell, and being so unwell, we barely rested all week.
The restaurant was disgusting. Tables were sticky and dirty, cups and cutlery filthy, and the food was always cold. There were cats everywhere – climbing on tables, wandering through the restaurant, even pooing on the lobby stairs. The stairs stank of cat urine, and there was cat mess all along the border by the restaurant. Completely unhygienic.
We complained to guest relations, but they couldn’t have cared less. No apology, no action, nothing.
This place should be shut down until they sort out the hygiene and health issues. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy stay here. Avoid at all costs – absolutely vile.

After a week at the Ramada Resort there are some pros and cons.
The room was fine but the balcony was only 2ft wide. The room was in a bad location as it was above the indoor bar/lobby area which was full every night and very noisy. There was no chance of getting to sleep before 1am and on one particular night it sounded like a fight broke out where shouting and screaming was going on til almost 3am.
The food was OK and you wouldn't go hungry and the staff were lovely and really friendly. It was a little out of the way location wise but the No 5 bus from outside the hotel will take you into Side itself and the Old Town/harbour area is worth a visit. We used the Spa and had a massage for 5 days which cost us around £250 for 10 sessions so always haggle to try to get the best price. We went in March and although the weather was glorious the pool was absolutely freezing.
The Animation Team tried to get everyone involved in activities and were chatty.
A mixed bag really but it was mainly the noise and the rowdiness of a few other holiday makers that spoilt it really which is not the hotels fault.

If i could give the 0 i would. This is the worst 'holiday' I have been on. We arrived at the hotel around 9pm to be told to leave our suitcases freely in lobby and go and have a drink whilst we wait for our room, other guests who arrived at the same time were being checked in without being told to wait. We went back around 30 minutes after to be told no and go and to sit down and have another drink. At this point my partner refused and again asked for our room keys which they then handed over.
We were very hungry so my sister asked the staff is there was any food and the staff member laughed and said soup to which we though he was joking. We then later learnt this wasn't a joke and there was "night soup" at 11:30pm. We then decided to walk to the shops that were supposedly open and nearby. We walked for 25 minutes to be greeted by building site after building site of hotels and all shops and restaurants shut. We quickly realised that this was the only hotel open in the area. We went back and waited for night soup which was cold watery soup and stale bread that seemed like it had been left out all day.
The food in the restaurant got worse as the days went on, none of us are picky eaters but this was awful. We lived off potatoes and pasta for the days we were there, the little choices of meat they had was undercooked, chewy and purple. There was nowhere else to go for food without travelling 20+ minutes in a taxi or on bus which wasn't properly advised. The all-inclusive drinks were also not great.
Our Rooms were infested with ants all over the bathroom floor which then made their way across the room to the dressing table area and beds. There was cold water in the showers every day not matter what the time was. When making the complaints about the rooms were just told that they would send a cleaner in. No offer of being moved rooms or apology from staff.
We made the decision to book flights home after 3 full days of being there down to all these issues we were having with no help from staff. We were all unhappy and stressed over the feeling of wasting money of this holiday, the lack of things to and lack of food.
How this is a 4 star hotel is beyond me.

This was a great hotel and great holiday! The room was ok, not super up to date but it was good. The air con was working perfectly, everything worked ! The food was divers and very good , tasty. Everywhere is very clean , in the food court and at the pool area. We were a family of 2 adults and one under 2 year old baby. If you go for the all inclusive , you also get the lunch at the beach bar so you don’t have to go back to the hotel! The ride to the beach was for free and the driver was very nice and pleasant. You can also walk to the beach it is a 10 min walk. Everything was good for a good holiday. There are shops and kids club in the hotel too, everyone is very nice , especially the man who runs a designer outlet ( i cannot remember his name) but he was very nice and accommodating! ! We recommend this hotel !

We stayed for 4 days 16-18 of us large group. On the last day this stay went down hill as the house maid stole money from our bag. we did not use the safe but we should feel comfortable to leave our bags with our belongings and not have to experience this terrible theft. There are no shops only in the hotel you need a car to stay here and the reception staff need to smile (MEN). Housekeeping are lazy did not sweep did not make bed did not replace coffee,, had to ask for shower gel.
