Had a brilliant family holiday here! We stayed for 14 days in apartment 1221 (a double apartment) with the balcony of our dreams. The place was spotless and the staff were friendly. We didn’t eat in the hotel much as I like to eat out but what we did eat was lovely. The only negative was the sunbed grabbers who were out first thing. It made it very difficult to mind our children in the pool at times but we managed fine. The apartment complex is very quiet at night so that suited us perfectly but close to the hustle of the strip for the odd late night. Overall I would highly recommend 👍

Let’s start with the good bit. The room was immaculate on arrival the check in was easy and the staff friendly.
That’s about it because at 6.05 am on the first day we were awakened by the daily recycling lorries that arrived about that time every day. We had already had a very disturbed night with constant shouting in the road outside all night. We thought we were staying in a nice secure complex but in reality we were in an apartment with an entrance straight onto the road 50 yards from the noisy strip. Anyone could walk up to the door and we felt it was very insecure. We thought we were staying in a complex which was gated and had security. We had to walk up the public road and into the reception if we wanted to use the pool. The pool reception and hotel areas were very nice and the staff friendly. We did asked to be moved but this was not possible and in the whole of our 5 day stay we did not recieve any maid service or cleaner.
We have visited this resort 20 times previously but would not stay at this accommodation again. When asked did we enjoy our stay and when I said no the receptionist said oh was it because of the bins and the noise before I said anything so they clearly know about the problem. Absolutely disgusting. Jewelry stolen from the room, when contacted reception they said nobody steals and it would have been thrown away. I cannot understand how anybody would throw away a brand new pandora jewelry bag and none of the other rubbish in the room when "cleaning". When speaking the next day to them they stated again they had never seen it and told us to call the police. After telling us previously to look through random bins on the side of the road. Rude staff with no sympathy or willingness to help. Not even giving eye contact when having a conversation or bothering to stand up. They also claimed that we said we hated the apartment we had not been in contact with the staff at all before this incident. O respect 0 service and 0 help.
Poor. Even down to the little things when simply ordering food from the snack bar treated like an idiot for asking for a receipt and laughing when we walk away. I seriously cannot understand what we did to upset them from the moment we walked in 5 days ago. Never-mind the fact we did not even put out the sign to say we wanted the apartment cleaned.

In short, a very poor experience. The worst I've ever had in Lanzarote and I've been visiting for many years now. Staff don't give a damn about the service, don't give a damn about the customer and display an attitude which shows they clearly don't want to be there and have no idea how to face a paying customer. They're rude, they lie and they're disrespectful.
The room was not clean on arrival with human hair all over the apartment and bathroom along with dirty linens on the bed.
No water on the morning of Day 2 to shower (did come on later in the day).

Staff promised to resolve all issues saying they'd deep clean the following day (day 2), this didn't happen. A complaint to our Jet2 rep meant we were then promised a deep clean the following day (day 3) and a bottle of Cava as an apology, this didn't happen either.
On Day 3 (of 5) I had to go to reception to ask for clean towels as still no cleaning had taken place.
Day 4 the cleaner showed up at 3:20pm as we were getting ready to go out, we asked for them to come back a bit later and we're told "clean now, I go home. If not now, then no clean" charming - you wait 4 days then get told it's now or never! As we were leaving the following day we just asked for towels and told the cleaner to forget it as we were half dressed and it would have made us late for our appointment.
To summarise: poor standards, staff that didn't care and then lied about solutions which never materialised. If it was the last hotel in Lanzarote I'd sleep on the beach !
I can't wait to see what the hotel replies to this - no doubt more lies trying to convince you that the above never happened and the hotel is amazing! Read some of the other reviews, it's clear we're not the only ones who had the displeasure of rude staff who don't care

We had the most excellent time at this hotel in Lanzarote. The staff are amazing. The rooms are spotless, and the kitchen appliances are perfect for us to cook and eat in as much or as little as we want.
