The hotel (especially its staff) is absolutely terrible. Communication with anyone is close to being impossible. Waiters are unprofessional.
The food is repetitive, boring, and not very tasty. The only good thing about this accommodation is that it's close to the beach. Rooms are tidy, clean and visually pleasing. But other than that, I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The rooms were really nice but we had tiny ants everywhere. We went to the restaurant to dine and the staff charged us for the dinner (even though we had paid beforehand) our food took longer than it should have, (people that came after us left before us) and we also seemed to get a smaller portion of chocolate mousse for dessert than everyone else did. It's not a diverse hotel in terms of ethnicities and the whole environment just felt off.

The room was great, we had a great view and a big beautiful bathroom. The stuff was very helpful and polite, very important in my eyes. The hotel is close to the beach, in approximately 5 min you can reach the beach.
The wifi was free but very slow and i expected a better dinner (it was only buffet).
Roundabout a great 4 star hotel, with some small changes it would be worth 5 stars.

I arrived at the hotel early hours in the morning on Monday, I was greeted by the concierge however was given wrong information. I was told the cleaners were to come and clean our room every 2 days. Tuesday the room wasn’t cleaned however Wednesday cleaners came and cleaned as expected. Thursday without being asked, cleaners came and cleaned the room and my gold necklace necklace went missing. I have told the Duty Manager as well as the housekeeping staff. They have dismissed my claims and stated that no one went in the room and took my gold necklace. Conveniently one of the cleaners was off the following day after the incident. The hotel was not helpful during this time. I have contacted the police and the case is ongoing. Do not leave your belongings in your room as there are thieves in the hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located near the beach (a 5-minute walk) and about 20 minutes from Praia Da Rocha (a 20-minute walk). All the facilities, including the cafeteria, gym are clean except for the water inside the pool. The Suite with a sea view was comfortable and had a spacious living room.
However, I had a negative experience while trying to book the same room in advance at the front desk through Rio, an employee. I was informed that I had to book online as they couldn't assist me directly. When I attempted to book online, I encountered difficulties and couldn't complete the reservation. Frustrated, I contacted the booking department and was told that there were blackout dates, but I should be able to book by next week, hopefully.
To my surprise, 2-3 days later, the booking calendar was opened, but it appeared that none of the suites were available. Considering the price I paid for the second most expensive suite with half-board, I expected better treatment. However, it seems that I am just another customer and nothing more. I would like to remind them that not long ago, when they were desperately seeking customers to remain in business during and after the pandemic, they were more accommodating. Now, their snobby behavior has left me disappointed.
In summary, I would rate the hotel itself as 5 stars for its beauty, cleanliness as 4 stars, customer service as 3 stars, and the booking experience as 1 star. Overall, I would give it a 3-star rating.
